It may not always be clear to some home owners where their property line ends and the neighbor’s begins. People all throughout time have got into disputes over land lines. Land is a good investment and it takes a little money to buy it too. I can see how problems could get started with property prices so expensive these days. You certainly don’t want your neighbor taking away any of that valuable property that is legally yours. I’m sure your neighbor feels the same way and they don’t want to give up any land either. The best way to solve the problem is get a surveyor to come out and draw the line between the two property owners claiming the same land. Once the line is in place, you want to keep it marked with a fence or some boundary that isn’t easily removed. Something as simple as a PVC fence could be installed on the property line to establish an official boundary between two neighbors feuding. If you think you have a piece a property that a neighbor is using, you need to take it up with them immediately. The longer they go on using your property is the longer it generally takes to solve the problem.
