I love this time of the year and the way sports are set up for the weekends. You can watch NHL Hockey, the NFL, and now basketball has started in the NBA and they show it all on TV. You can watch a lot of games on the weekend if you’re a sports fan. It’s not hard to find a good ball game on the tube and this is my favorite time of the year. One more thing that can make it better is inviting your friends over for a poker game; while you have sports on TV. I feel like I’m in heaven; when a few of my friends come over to play cards and watch sports on television. Sometimes we lose track of the game if things are heating up in cards. It works the other way around if the game on TV gets close; then we start dealing a bit slower.

Now I’m just a casual poker player. I don’t play for big money and I don’t have a Poker Odds Chart memorized in my head. I know some people are good at that and I have one friend that is quick with the odds in poker. He usually gets the better of me in our card games. I’m descent at math, but don’t play cards enough to know which math to use (if that makes sense). If you have trouble getting your friends together to play cards; then you’re force to play poker online. Most of us will run into this problem, due to the fact when we do get older, we get married and have kids and this influences our weekend poker games a lot. If your wife doesn’t like cards or your friends; then be sure to get a high speed connection with your computer; because I think you will be playing a lot of online poker. It’s not all bad and you do have access to more Poker Tools when you play cards online. You just lose your friends having burping contests and seeing which one can eat the most pizza.

I enjoy playing rummy, spades, canasta, and several versions of poker online. My favorite card game is probably spades. I’m picky on the way I like to play and it’s important for me to have a good partner in spades. Another fun card game that I like is cribbage. Have you ever heard of a card game called cribbage before? It’s not too popular and most people don’t know how to play it. I don’t like playing cribbage at home, because it’s too hard keeping up with the score. It’s best to play cribbage online; where the computer can keep your score. It’s a two or four player game, but it’s much better with partners. If you like to play cards for money though, I guess poker is really the only one you can do online and win real money. I would need to rent or buy a few Poker Videos before I started playing for cash online. I don’t trust my current poker skills to win me any money, but it would be nice if I could earn some extra money from playing poker. Do you play poker online for real money? If so, feel free to share some poker tips or poker secrets and I might just give it a try!
