Do you or any member of your family watch those home shopping channels on television? I have caught myself over the years watching them and I know how addictive they can be. If you watch them long enough, you can find a few tv deals. When you see these items on television, it does make you want to grab the phone and order them. It’s a gold mine of a business and who ever invented the first shop at home channel was a genius. I’m not sure which one was first. I know the one that came on our TV sets first, but not sure it would be the same for other parts of the country.

I have ordered my mom’s Christmas gifts from some of those TV channels. I remember one year, I didn’t get my order in on time, so she didn’t get her Christmas gift until after December 25th. I guess we are just a couple of months away from Christmas now and many of those channels will start up their Christmas specials. I will probably tune in and see if there are any bargains around the Thanksgiving holidays. If I am buying for myself, I usually watch the programs that have the knife shows, coin collectibles, and my most favorite of all is the baseball card shows. I have bought lots of sports cards off of the TV and you can still find them on every now and then. Do you have a favorite category you look for; when you shop at home?
