Almost all the items on my RSS feed have to do with music. But that would be no surprise to any friends or acquaintances because I use most of my free time going to concerts or keeping up with upcoming releases from my favorite bands.

One album that I’m especially excited about is the Arcade Fire’s “Suburbs.” Despite the band’s best efforts, the album – like virtually every other album today – has been leaked online before its official release. I hate to admit it, but I have listened to a couple of its songs streamed on YouTube videos, and they sound amazing! I’m still not sure if they’re as amazing as “Wake Up” – the song on the commercials for “Where The Wild Things Are” movie – but they sound quite fantastic.

I’ve already pre-ordered the CD through my wild blue internet service and have prowled almost every music blog imaginable to get critics’ takes on the Montreal-based band’s CD.

I still haven’t seen the band perform though. I missed out on going with a friend to a free rally the band played to encourage voters to register, and regret it more each time I listen to one of their songs.
