Stocks Start 2008 Weak
The 2008 year hasn’t started with a bang for the stock market. The market has had a few nice dips in its first week of trading for the new year. I think this is just a bump in the road and by the end of the month, investors will forget all about this first week. It’s a presidential election year and the stock market always does well in those years. So the short-term forecast might seem a little bleak right now, but the year as a whole should earn investors money.
I like a lot of the medical stocks right now and the medical retail stores too. The places you go to pick up them prescriptions would be a good bet for 2008. I think the medical industry as a whole is going to have a very profitable 2008. So if you have not added any medical or healthcare stocks to your portfolio; now might be a good time to do so. A lot of bargains are out there and it doens’t take much effort to find one or two good medical stocks. Just make sure you own at least one big medical company in your assets this year.Click here for reuse options!
