Simple things are worth blogging about

The shark attacks that keep making the news is a result of them coming closer to our shorelines. Many of these attacks are not out in the deep seas or off a boat that is diving in the deep blue yonder. People are getting attacked by a variety of sharks and most of these are swimmers that are 100 yards or closer to the shore line. This disturbing pattern is a good reason for parents and travelers to take notice. If you plan to visit a place that occupies the coast line of the ocean, be aware that there is sharks out there roaming around. It doesn’t matter which state or country you’re in, shark attacks can happen in warm waters or in the icy cold waters further up north.
A family vacation that comes with the ocean surf and beach sands, should know that sharks are waiting for us to go swimming. New patterns in their behavior is showing clear signs of their feelings toward us. We are now one of the things sharks look for to eat and all men, women, and children are on the menu. The experts would like us to believe the odds in getting bit by a shark, but this is not good enough for someone that wants to come back from vacation with all of their limbs in tact.
Do we really care if getting struck by lightning is more likely to happen than a shark bite? Do we really care that millions of people enter the salty waters each day and only a few dozen unlucky swimmers get bit by sharks? The fact is, if a shark crosses your path and decided to take a bite, you will be leaving a lot of bone, tissue, muscle, and skin behind in its mouth. The amount of blood you lose can be enough to kill you and the loss of blood may be the least of your concerns. If you do manage to get medical help from a shark bite, the chances of living a normal life is slim to none.
Why chance a swim in the ocean for the chance to go through life without an arm, leg, or a hunk of your body that you will need for the rest of your life. Until we can learn why sharks are increasing their attacks on humans, everyone should avoid the oceans. Going out in the water and keeping the water line below your belt line is the safest way to play in the oceans today. Making the move to go out in water above your head is just way too risky for anyone and nobody should ever get this deep in any ocean in the world. Stay safe and keep away from all oceans is the best advice you can get this summer; before you plan that next trip to the beach or taking a summer vacation to a ocean nearby. The oceans are no longer safe for us to play in and we should all avoid them!

thx this helped a lot to prove it to the world
First off…it’s not our shoreline! The ocean no matter where in the ocean it is, is still the oceans habitat! Secondly yes more incidents involving humans is sad and tragic, it’s a risk people take when they get in the oceans! Thirdly…you should of added that millions of sharks are killed each year and that may be one of the reasons sharks are moving to the coastline! Lastly you should of added that sharks are moving closer to the coastline because a lot of shark species move to warmer more shallow coastal waters to give birth to their pups! It’s the sharks ocean and therefor one needs to respect sharks and learn how to share their world!
Love the title “A Simple Life.” After reading what you wrote, it’s true- it doesn’t get any simpler than that!
never heard something so stupid!
Honestly, is writing and publishing this kind of stuff serious, let alone responsible? Apart of being a stunning bunch of inaccuracies and falsehood, and thus having obviously been written by somebody who doesn’t know nothing about sharks and sealife generally speaking, what’s the meaning? Don’t cross the road, because you might be crushed by a car! Don’t have sex, because you might get AIDS, etc. etc.
Such a level of either ignorance or bad faith (maybe both?) is pathetic, and it is even more (if possible) to read that ‘Monica’ thinks that it might help “to prove to the world”. To prove what, for God’s sake? If sharks were hunting for us humans, it would simply be impossible to put one single toe in the sea. However, I strongly doubt you are honest enough so that this comment of mine will be published, so I am afraid I just wasted my time…
Perhaps if you don’t have anything intelligent to say, you shouldn’t say it at all.
Seriously! reading this makes me think you’re totally ignorant and oblivious towards the nature of sharks.
What you are doing here is to attack the sharks in the worst way possible, apart from going to kill them yourself.
People need to know the truth about these mysterious and beautiful and amazing oceanic predators that are vital to the health of our oceans!!! NOT THIS!
Keep your personal fears to yourself and don’t spread it around.
All the sharks need is respect, they are wild animals just like any other and they are NOT out to do us any harm, they are NOT monsters.
I wrote this thinking this person won’t read this and understand what I’m trying to say and that makes me sad:( So please try to understand that writing things like this is wrong, and please try to turn this fear into respect and don’t make sharks out to be monsters. I urge you to learn more about sharks and look at the different species, maybe you’ll notice how beautiful the wobbegong is or how peaceful the whaleshark is or how there are people that dive freely with the great white shark without being attacked – the great white may be scary but it is also very inquisitive and intelligent. I’ve seen the great white myself and all I felt was awe and admiration.
Going into the water is a risk sometimes, but that totally depends on when and where you are, but there are very few places that are prone to shark attacks. Common sense should tell you that.
well, i do have to say, they may be going closer in places, but they have always been there and its our responsibility to stay out of their areas, not the other way around. these creatures are beautiful and don’t have a vendeta against humans. they are not looking to eat or attack humans. really anyone who thinks that small doesn’t see the whole picture. u need to experience the life of a shark and its intricacies, not damn them to hell. to this day, i will be struck by lightening before i ever get attacked by a shark and will not give up going and enjoying the ocean and all its splendor. u do what u want, don’t scare the rest of the human race to believe such rubish. i hope one day u realize how beautiful a creature the great white is. god bless
it’s our fault that they’re coming closer to shore. they’re extremely misunderstood and we treat them too badly.
they arnt vicisios preditors!
