Simple things are worth blogging about

All the conference titles have been decided and now the NCAA has put together a list of the best 65 teams in college basketball. This is where March Madness really begins and we get to see the best 65 teams in the nation facing off against each other on a neutral basketball court. There is no post season in college or professional that can rival or compare to the NCAA Men’s College Basketball Tournament.
I know the first thing college basketball fans want to do now. They want to find one of those brackets they can print out and give to everyone at the office, so everyone can fill out their college basketball brackets. You can find numerous websites online that offer these printable brackets for the 2010 NCAA Tournament. Just go to any of the major search engines and do a search for “printable 2010 ncaa brackets” and you should have several choices in your search results. I have been asked to not promote anyone’s website that contains the bracket for printing, so you will need to track down your own links for these 2010 NCAA Tournament Brackets.
#1 Seeds for 2010 NCAA Tourney
1. Kansas
1. Syracuse
1. Kentucky
1. Duke
Which number 1 seed is the most likely to lose their opening round game?
I think the competition is pretty weak for all 4 schools, but based on their performance coming down the stretch, I will say that the Syracuse Orangemen are the most likely one seed to lose this year. They will be up against a pretty good VMU (Vermont) team and I wouldn’t be in total shock, to see Vermont a 16 seed beat the number 1 seed Orange team from Syracuse, New York.
Which teams have the best Cinderella hopes; based on their placement in the bracket?
I will pick a Cinderella team from each section of the tournament. These are the 4 teams I believe have all the makings to be a bracket buster and you might want to check them twice, before you have them losing in their first couple of games. A Cinderella team is usually a team with 2 wins and we get to see them play in the Sweet Sixteen. Cinderella teams don’t win the NCAA Mens College Tournament, they just survive their first couple of games.
Midwest Cinderella Team – I actually see Tennessee and Georgia Tech playing against each other here. They are both Cinderellas when they meet in the NCAA Tournament and this Cinderella team advances to the Elite 8.
West Cinderella Team – Not many in the country know about Chris Singleton from Florida State. Expect Singleton and his tall team of Seminoles to rock the rims in the West and your Cinderella story here is no doubt going to be Florida State.
East Cinderella Team – The Clemson Tigers will be challenged early in the tourney from another tiger, as in the Missouri Tigers, but I see the guys in Orange from South Carolina defending their East turf and Clemson is the Cinderella Team here.
South Cinderella Team – I’m having trouble picking a Cinderella team in the South bracket. I see the favorites mainly winning here, but if there is going to be any surprises in the South, I expect a team from New York to be the ones doing it. I will go with Siena as my bracket buster in the South and Siena is my Cinderella choice.
Let me know your feedback on the NCAA Tournament this year. The 2010 college basketball tournament looks like a good one and I expect to see several upsets in the first couple of rounds. Don’t let your favorite college basketball team look past their 1st round opponents. These are the 65 best schools in the nation as seen by the NCAA and each one of these teams had to do something a little special, to be in the NCAA Mens Tourney. Enjoy the games and I hope your college brackets come up right every time. You just ain’t American if you don’t get one of these 2010 printable basketball brackets and fill in your picks for the winner of each one of these games.
