Simple things are worth blogging about

Women who are expecting these days, take a little different approach with their pregnancy. Some Moms have felt the need to take prenatal vitamins for increasing their risk with a healthy delivery. I think this sounds like a good idea, but all women should check with their doctors first. Make sure your doctor knows everything you’re taking, even if it is just a vitamin. You never know when another drug will have a bad reaction to the medicine the doctor is already prescribing for you. I think in most cases these vitamins would be approved for a mom-to-be to take, but you can never be too safe. Asking for help at the drug stores is also a good idea and most pharmacists will be able to assist or answer any concerns a woman might have about taking a vitamin during their pregnancy.

I am 6wks pregnant and my OB Dr. has prescribed me Prometrium to take till I am about 14wks along. This is my second pregnancy and I have a feeling that this one will end up on bedrest like my first one did. My son was born 5wks early. I have a heart shape uterus and I had no clue I had this till I was pregnant with my son. I am wondering if all my pregnancies will be consider high risk ones and if this means I will have more miscarriages. I haven’t had any miscarriages yet.
