Hollywood is famous for creating high school and college movies that get played by 20 and 30 year old Hollywood stars. In these movies where they can’t even get teens to play out the roles, it is creating a bad situation for our teenagers in high school. They fall into the party life that Hollywood creates and try to live up to a lifestyle that doesn’t exist for any normal teens. Only the rich and famous teens can keep up with the lifestyle Hollywood is creating on the big screen.

Often there is drugs and other things these movies contain, which set a bad example for the youth of America. We have let Hollywood get away with things for too long. It’s time we make these big blockbuster movies stand up and be accounted for the silly behaviors they cause with our kids. These movies constantly offer the worse solutions and answers to real teen problems. A teen who is struggling to fit in, is suddenly popular in the eyes of Hollywood, when they develop some illegal way to become popular. This message gets sent out daily to our kids in America, that fitting in comes with doing illegal things in our society. Not only should these teen movies stand up and be accounted for, but we as parents should make a stand too. To let these film makers know, they are setting bad examples for our youth in the main streets of this country.

Late night television has came to TBS or Turner Broadcasting Station, thanks to the help of Latino George Lopez. NBC made a big mistake in choosing Jay Leno (the quitter) over Conan (who waited his turn and did well) for the prime time slot on NBC’s late night talk shows. It was November 8th; when Conan made his TBS debut. You can tell by his strong cast of guest stars, that many are on his side against the NBC network. His 2nd show featured Tom Hanksand it was a clear indication that Hanks and O’Brien are banning NBC’s Jay Leno Show. Other Hollywood stars might want to understand this late night TV feud better and not choose to appear on the Jay Leno Show. Anyone appearing on Jay Leno will be subject to a red carpet ban, as far as late night TV fans are concerned.

It’s great to see Conan getting more fans and bigger lines for his TBS cable show; than Jay Leno’s NBC show; which appears on a regular network like NBC. While Conan mailed it in Thursday night, after 3 strong shows to start his TBS career, he was picked up by his partner in late night television. This is because George Lopez had stars such asDenzel Washington, Wayne Newton, Hillary Duff, Jerry Springer, and former NBA player Rick Foxon his show, after Conan’s Thursday night episode on TBS.

More Hollywood stars should consider the best tandem in Late Night TV by appearing on Conan or CoCo as Tom Hanks has given this nickname to Conan O’Brien. These two great shows on TBS is much better than NBC has to offer. At least on the Monday through Friday schedule and luckily they have Saturday Night Live to bring back late night TV fans on this weekend night. No one wants to watch David Letterman or Jan Leno on NBC. Jimmy Kimmel is a better talk show host than Jay Leno. Some fans may want to watch Jimmy Kimmel live and then tape the 2nd airings of Conan and the George Lopez show for watching the next day. Either way, the biggest loser in talk shows late night is NBC and their front man who will be looking to quit again in the near future Jay Leno. That’s right, you can catch the real Biggest Loser on NBC once a week and their other biggest loser Jay Leno 5 times per week. If you want to watch the best late night entertainment in television these days. Just switch over to TBS and get a glimpse of Conan O’Brien and his sidekick Andy Richter. Fans get treated to a great 2nd TV show with the George Lopez show; which follows Conan O’Brien. Hopefully all Hollywood stars will recognize this and want to appear on Conan and George, more than the Jay Leno show; which is just another version of NBC’s Biggest Loser.

My best friend and I love to visit the New England Aquarium in Boston with our kids. We always have a blast! We try and plan a day trip when they are off from school. It really is educational, but the kids have so much fun, they do not realize they are learning too. There is so much to see and do there that we never get bored. We all just love going to the aquarium!

We always pack our lunch and extra snacks as the aquarium is about an hour away. I usually drive everyone since we have a large passenger van. Before the kids and I leave home, I always check to make sure that our home security alarm(website here) is set. Once we pick up our fellow travelers, we head to Boston, which is about an hour away from our town. On the way there, all the kids are buzzing with excitement. Everyone is talking non-stop!

At the end of the day, everyone is worn out and ready for the ride back. On the drive home, all the kids are quiet, and most of them take a nap. A visit to the aquarium really is a great day trip if you have children.

It was a normal 5 p.m. evening off the coast of Southern California Monday; when out of the evening sky a missile could be seen in flight. It is pretty common in this area for the Air Force or Navy to do missile tests. The problem with the mystery missile on Monday, is that no one is claiming any missile tests were done. If the U.S. Armed Services didn’t do it and have no knowledge of it and the Pentagon has no information about this missile being launched Monday close to the Los Angeles area, then that only leaves two other possibilities. A private company or person did this missile test without a proper license. Or a foreign nation was able to get within 35 miles of the coast of California and launch this missile over the Pacific Ocean in the evening skies.

I know this missile opens up a security lapse in the U.S. Homeland Security. We use to think a plane could never hit the White House. So many radar systems, planes, and air defense weapons in the Washington D.C. area, that would make it far too difficult. Then we saw what happened on 9/11 and just how vulnerable the most secured targets in America really are to air dangers. If a few people with box cutters on a airplane can drive a plane to the doorsteps of the White House; then you know our homes and local businesses would easily be able to be hit from the skies. I think this latest Californian Mystery Missile is proof that we are no safe now than we were before the terrorist attacks on September 11th.

It is that time of the year again, where deer hunters everywhere are heading into the woods. They are all hoping to get a good clean shot, on a big nice buck. Hopefully the hunters will not fall asleep and allow the deer to roam freely on their hunts. I could only imagine how it would feel to miss an opportunity like this one.

I do like how deer hunters approach their hunts. Most will arrive in the woods around 4 a.m. in the morning or 2 hours before the sun comes up. By the time the sun is starting to shine through the trees, your presence from two hours earlier should all be gone. Hopefully those sounds you hear of something in the leaves is not a squirrel and something bigger, like a nice big trophy deer. After the daylight has come is really when you first begin hunting, even though you been outdoors for 2 hours. From this point, it all depends on how much patience you have, for determining how long you will be willing to wait for a deer to come along. Some hunters will leave if they haven’t heard or seen anything in 2 hours. Others will allow the 10 a.m. hour to arrive and the really patient hunters give it until noon, for them to spot their deer.

Deer hunting does take a lot of patience. There are some stories of deers getting caught in the wrong place at the wrong time and makes it too easy for the deer hunter. Most of the time, you can expect to take multiple trips hunting, until you get a good clean shot and within 100 yards of a nice deer. The hunters who take a shot from 200 or 300 yards away, really have to trust their aim. This becomes a very long walk, trying to look for a wounded deer, when you shoot them from long ranges. Typically a nice close shot on a big buck will deliver the bullet to the best place possible. I believe the back shoulder of the front legs is where most hunters try to aim. I believe there is a bone there in the deer and if it gets crushed from a bullet, the deer is pretty much unable to walk or run. Shots that miss the target will still kill the deer in most cases. Since the deer is startled and begins to run, this only causes the heart to pump faster and causing blood to exit out of a gun shot wound much faster. However, before the deer runs out of blood, they can still scat a good mile or further. So accuracy is really important to a deer hunter.

I know the deer meat is really good. I probably wouldn’t like it so much, if I could go to the supermarket and buy it anytime. Since it’s rare for me to get deer meat, I enjoy more because of this reason of rarely eating it. I never ate any good deer steaks; which most people really like. I usually enjoy the deer chopped into small chunks of lean meat and cooked into a deer stew. It’s hard to find too many foods on the menu, that are better than a big bowl of deer stew, on a cold winter day. What is your favorite way to prepare a piece of deer meat? Every year I go with my buddies to the county fair to enjoy the rides, games and shows. Each year they have different things going on whether they be musical guests, dance productions or animals. You’re probably thinking animals? But yeah, one year they had pony rides while another year they had sheep and you’d sheer them for wool or whatever.

Personally, I prefer the games and rides. Though the games aren’t nearly as fun if you don’t have someone to win prizes for. They almost always have the classic throwing balls to knock down cans, tossing a ring or shooting baskets. They also usually have some hammer the mole or strength test game. This year they added some shooter style games, although I didn’t play them. I still enjoy most of the rides. I usually get nauseous on those theme park rides, but the ones at the county fair have far less force, making them much more easier to handle. My favorite has always been what is called Galvatron where you go into this tiny disc like room and it spins around and you float in the area like there is no gravity.

Another aspect I enjoy about the County Fair is all the food and business shops. People sell homemade trinkets, crafts, flowers, etc.,. I always end up spending most of my money there. I admit, I’m not as spry as I used to be, so I plan on leaving a little early this year and watching some directv.

Cheese is one of those foods that you either like or you love it. Very few people hate cheese all together. Some of the most popular food items on the menu include cheese in some form or fashion. The pepperoni and beef isn’t really that expensive, for the small bite size pieces. Your local pizza parlor could probably make a pizza for less than $1, if you took away the cheese and just made a basic pizza with all the normal toppings. Even with the cheese, a company like Dominos can make one of their large extravaganza pizzas for about two dollars each. I know most people are amazed by this, but it is true. Not many ever order a pizza with all the toppings either. Your typical large pizza with only pepperoni and extra cheese is around $1.15. This is the cost for the big pizza restaurants, who have a chain of stores in every state. So don’t think your pizza coupon for a large 3 topping pizza for 10 bucks is that good. The pizza industry profits around 900% for those ten dollar pizzas with 3 toppings or less.

We all seem to enjoy cheese in one way or another. I know if you like the different tastes of cheese, you have a lot of tasting you can do. Not sure the ball park figure, but I know there is more than 100 different types of cheeses and that my friend is a lot of cheese. And for the record, the moon is not made out of cheese. Only a false report and cheese is only found on the planet Earth.

Our lawn chairs come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Some are used for simply sitting; while others allow for a more relaxed fit. For most home owners, they have had to host at least one big event, that has taken place at their home.
