A Myrtle Beach Resort on the coast of South Carolina is just what the doctor ordered! Well not really, but you get my drift. These beautiful resorts are located all up and down the Carolina shorelines and who wouldn’t want to spend a weekend or even a week in one of these fabulous resorts?

I live in the Peach State of Georgia and the South Carolina border is just about 2 hours away from my North Georgia home. After I cross the S.C. border, it takes about another 4 hours to drive to the Myrtle Beach Resorts, that I want to travel to for a vacation. I know some may not be 6 hours away from Myrtle Beach and it may take a little more effort to get there. I will say that extra effort will be worth it, once you see the Atlantic Ocean from Myrtle Beach. I have been there 2 times in my life and enjoyed each trip very much. I can’t wait until I get a chance to go back for a 3rd time.

Myrtle Beach has changed so much over the years and some people say I won’t even recognize it; since it’s been so long ago when I visited there. I went with close relatives the first two times I went there. I’m ready to go with friends now and enjoy the luxuries of being an adult in Myrtle Beach. They do have a great party atmosphere, but Myrtle Beach is a lot more tame than some party beaches and the parents won’t have any problems taking the children to Myrtle Beach.

Summer is coming to an end and fall is just around the corner. You do want to travel to Myrtle Beach in the summer time or at least when the weather is warm, so you can enjoy the fun and sun on the beaches. I may can find better deals right now for Myrtle Beach Accomodations and I am living on a budget right now.  Most of these places that provide vacation spots for families, like Myrtle Beach, may have a sharp decrease in visitors when school starts back. Most of the schools in Georgia are back in business right now and I’m sure the same can be said for the schools in South Carolina. Maybe now is the perfect time (price wise) to make that trip across the border and stay in one of those luxury resorts Myrtle Beach has to offer.

Feel free to pass on any advice you may have about Myrtle Beach. The fall time of the year is the the best time to go deep sea fishing. If you don’t see me around anytime soon; then you know I grabbed the fishing pole and headed to the Atlantic Ocean via Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
