Simple things are worth blogging about
8 May
The MTV Movie Awards is fast approaching and many good movies up for the nominees. There are a couple of kid movies making the list this year and it seems some movie fans don’t like this. High School Musical 3 and the new Hannah Montana movie will be two of the ones up for awards this year. I guess the people accepting these awards will be using their best acne pills, if they have to go on stage to accept an award. I haven’t seen either one of these two movies, so I really can’t comment how good they are. I think the best movies should be on the MTV Movie Awards and it doesn’t really bother me if a children’s movie or one geared toward teens makes the list.
You can go vote on the awards and determine which movies win. Here are some of the choices movie fans will be choosing between.
Best Movie
1. The Dark Knight
2. High School Musical 3: Senior Year
3. Iron Man
4. Slumdog Millionaire
5. Twilight
Best Female Performance
1. Angelina Jolie – Wanted
2. Anne Hathaway – Bride Wars
3. Kate Winslet – The Reader
4. Kristen Stewart – Twilight
5. Taraji P. Henson – The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Best Male Performance
1. Christian Bale – The Dark Knight
2. Robert Downey Jr. – Iron Man
3. Shia LaBeouf – Eagle Eye
4. Vin Diesel – Fast & Furious
5. Zac Efron – High School Musical 3: Senior Year
Do you see a moive or a male or female performer that caught your eye? There are a lot more categories that will be voted on like Best Comedic Performance, Best Villian, Best Song from a Movie, Best Fight, Best Kiss, and the list goes on and on. You can make a difference in this year’s MTV Movie Awards by going to place your votes now. See if you can help swing the vote for your favorite actor or actress. It should be a great show to watch this year and I look forward to the 2009 MTV Movie Awards.
