It must be tough for a family to move from a place they have lived their whole lives at. I know mountain folks and people living in the country that have owned their land for several generations and then someone decides to develop the property or build a road through it. It can be tough on those families that are forced to move and especially if that is the only home they have ever known. I have lived in my house for over 30 years and I have gotten use to it now. I’m not sure I would want to move, even if I won the lottery.

The people that have the roughest jobs are the ones that have to make these poor mountain folks leave. They are often confronted with violence or shotguns and this is usually how mountain folks speak. They are a tough bunch and they learn to stick up for their neighbors. They probably could use some more manners from a mountain forum or something like that, but these people tend to survive much better than city folks do when confronted with bad news. You may think of the people living up in the mountains as calm and laid back folks, but when you get them upset, you will hear them speak, that’s for sure!
