Who are the most powerful men walking around on the Earth today? I read an interesting article on this topic at Yahoo today and some of the people on the list might surprise you. It’s no suprise that President Barack Obama is at the top of the list. It’s always been said whoever is the President of the U.S.A., woud naturally be the most powerful person on the planet. Other powerful leaders make up the next two spots on the list and that would be Hu Jinato of China and Vladimir Putin of Russia.

At number 5 is where the first big shocker comes in and the guys that run the Google search engine are considered to be the 5th most powerful men in the world today. Larry Page and Sergey Brin are the two guys at the head of Google and they have a lot of influence on the World Wide Web. If you look on the list of top 400 companies according to Forbes Magazine, you would see the Google Company listed at 3rd on the list with a staggering worth of 30.6 billion dollars! It doesn’t matter if you love them or hate them, but Google is responsible for a big part of the way we use the Internet today and we would be lost on this World Wide Web without a team of dedicated workers like you can find with Google. They may be ranked 5th on the list of most powerful men, but Google is the number 1 place in the world to work. If you’re lucky enough to ever get a job working with Google; then make sure you don’t pass it up.

Some of the other notable names making up the list is Carlos Slim Helu from Mexico at number 6, Rupert Murdoch at number 7, Michael T. Duke with Wal Mart at number 8, and the World’s Richest Man Bill Gates can be found at number 10 on the list.
