Simple things are worth blogging about

Senior citizens are now living in an age where technology has brought about so many changes in their everyday lives. These changes have not overlooked the senior citizen community.
Cell phone companies are now making cell phones that are geared towards the senior citizen. They are making the numbers on the keypad appear larger on cell phones. This is a very good thing for the only person who has a very hard time seeing numbers. Since more and more cell phone companies are catching on to this new trend, seniors now have a variety of cell phones to choose from.
A computer will allow a senior citizen to do research on Miracle Ear Prices at home. This will particularly come in handy if they are interested in making a major purchase. They will be able to do research at home, instead of going by the word of a salesperson wants to make a quick sale. This is particularly important will because a lot of times people think they can get over on senior citizens, but a well-informed senior citizen will be able to go into a place of business and know exactly what they want. Grandchildren are very helpful when it comes to senior citizens learning how to use the Internet. There are also many classes that are geared towards senior citizens learning about the online world.
Senior citizens can also utilize the Internet to meet new people around their age. There are numerous communities online there aimed towards the elderly. These online communities will help them get over a sense of sometimes feeling alone. They can just log online and feel as though they are in touch with the outside world.
Whether it is a free hearing test or a wheelchair, technology has brought about so much change for the senior community that is a necessity for senior citizens learn how to adapt.
One Response for "Learning to Adjust"
Doctors,
My husband and I are 52 and 61 and we have a very embarrassing problem that I don’t even really want to ask. It is a sexual problem that I have never heard of anyone talk about before. When my husband and I make love it is wonderful still at our age. However, when we are done there are small white crumbly things under me. Is it because of my husbands age that his semen is dead and dried up? We have to make love on a towel so that we don’t have to change the sheets every night that we make love. We make love three to four times a week so it is easier to lay a towel under me than to change the sheets afterwards. Otherwise I change the sheets once a week if we don’t get the crumbly little fellows on it. Is this semen or something else? We bothe bathe daily so I don’t think that it is dead skin coming off of us. What is this bothersome and embarrassing problem? Do all Senior Citizens have the same problem but never talk about it? I am 61 and my husband is 52. I didn’t think that semen would dry up at his age. Is he okay or does he have a problem with his prostate? Should we go to the Doctor and have him checked out or is this something normal that no one discusses? I am embarrassed to talk about this but I imagine there are other couples out there that have the same problem.
Sincerely,
Tamara Lesley
