If you plan to go to a Myrtle Beach Resort this year for a business trip, family vacation, or just a weekend getaway; then make sure you pack the golf clubs. The areas around Myrtle Beach are perfect for golf. They have a lot of golf courses to choose from and the weather is always nice. A Resort in Myrtle Beach should include a golf course or two you can play at while visiting this beautiful area of the country. Most of the courses are just minutes away and regardless of where you choose to stay at in Myrtle Beach, you can rest assure that a golf course is nearby.

I know a lot of my friends go play golf in South Carolina every year. It isn’t a far drive from our North Georgia homes. I have never made this trip with them before, but I think I might take them up on the offer in 2010. I believe they go to about 5 different golf courses and will do this in a 4 day trip. A game of golf in the morning and one in the evening is how they usually do it. They do try to play 2 rounds a day at different golf courses when they arrive, so in case bad weather comes, they will have played the courses they wanted to go to. Travelers should always do what’s highest on their list first, in case something does intrude on your vacations or weekend getaways.

If you have never been to Myrtle Beach; then you should try it at least once. I have been there two times and loved it each time I went. There is a lot more things to do in Myrtle Beach and golf isn’t your only choice. The great seafood restaurants, shopping, and the beach are just a few of the things you will like in Myrtle Beach. An Oceanfront Myrtle Beach Hotel is the next best thing to a resort. If you don’t want to stay at a resort, you can select from a long list of hotels in the area. I do recommend getting one that is on the ocean side of the strip. It’s a lot better when you can leave your hotel room and head for the ocean and you don’t have to worry about crossing the street and dodging the traffic on the strip. If you do go, be sure to come back here and let me know how your trip to Myrtle Beach went. Have fun!
