Getting Rid of Bugs
As the weather is warming and making the days so much nicer for us to be outside. It is also making conditions more favorable for bugs. So how’s the best way to get rid of them? Sure we can go to the local hardware store and pick up some bug killers, but we can also make our own. Making homemade bug remedies is not only cheaper, but can be fun. You may already know some that your grandparents did back in the day. When Raid Super Bee Flight Killer was not on the market yet, and money was tight back then. You wouldn’t have spent money on something for killing bugs.
Now we are in modern times, when one mosquitoe can send the whole neighborhood to the market to stock up on pesticides and bug sprays. Instead of running out, sit back and try to play around with some home made remedies.
Take some garlic, and soak in mineral oil for 1 day. After that, drain out the mineral oil, so you only have the cloves of garlic left. Then put a few drops of dishwashing liquid on it, then just add water to it. Put that in your bug sprayer, and begin spraying. This will kill a lot of bugs around the house. It’s the all purpose bug killer in home remedies. The less water you add, is the more potent the poision.
I have also heard of cutting lemons, and leaving the peels around the house, will keep snakes away. You have probably tried some of these home made remedies yourself, or just have heard of some. Please share your stories!Click here for reuse options!
