I think a lot more doctors are encouraged with the results these exercise pools offer and highly recommend using them today. While I still wait for my big chance to visit Las Vegas and play that slot machine for the first time; others are choosing Vegas for a different reason. Some will plan a trip to one of those big and fancy Las Vegas Hotels, where they will take-in the nightlife Vegas offers. The lovers that just can’t wait to spend eternity together will go to Las Vegas to just get married. A night on the town or a Vegas Wedding are all good reasons to choose a Vegas trip, but a whole new crowd of visitors are now dreaming of a Vegas Vacation.

People are now going to Vegas to play cards and bet their money on their poker skills. I know this may not sound like anything new, but it really is. The television coverage that shows these big poker tournaments in Vegas taking place; has trickled through out the country. People all across America and in many different states, now want to visit Las Vegas for the big poker tournaments; rather than the bright lights and noises from the slot machines. Remember the days of playing Pong the video game? We couldn’t get enough of this new and exciting game, that we could actually control on our TV screens. About 4 decades and 1 million video games later, we have came a long ways from those “Pong days”. I doubt too many lessons are being taught to the Graphic Design School students of today; about those early Pong years. The teachers and students are so much more advanced in the way they’re applying their gaming technology for today’s video games. If you haven’t picked up a video game controller in the last few years, you would be surprised at all the things these smart people are adding to these games.

If you think Pac Man was a move to the future, you haven’t seen nothing yet. Many of today’s games will take you through fantasties and worlds that only a visitor to this planet could create and not a real human being. At least that is the way I think. I’m constantly amazed at all the gaming graphics and colors these video game designers are coming up with. You would be hard-pressed to find a smarter group of people in any other modern industry.

It’s often said in schools, that our students of today that complete the 8th grade, have a higher level of education than our first president George Washington had. When you look at the people that make up the video gaming industry in the 21st century, I don’t think it’s too far fetched to say these folks are as smart , if not smarter, than Albert Einstein. These men and women are no doubt an elite group of folks and I’m sure they could have just as easily been a brain surgeon, military weapons designer, or anything else that would take a tremendous amount of concentration and creativity.

So where does these smart folks come from? The C.I.A.? Japan? Mars? Actually these people are our friends and neighbors down the street. They just took a different path after high school; than the majority of us did. Many of these high-paid professionals that are earning a weekly or monthly salary from designing video games, got their start in schools that offer graphic design courses. Adults that didn’t take direct paths into this industry after high school, can still get a degree in this type of technology. For those with jobs and families already and don’t think they have the time for a career change, can still get a degree online. There once was a story. A story with two Coreys. It was a story Hollywood would tell many times with Corey Haim and Corey Feldman. One Corey was good; while the other Corey not so good. One was a clean-cut kid that seem to have everything and the other seem to find his way into a lot of troubles. In many fans eyes, the good Corey was Corey Haim and the bad one was Corey Feldman. If there was ever a time we would wake up to shocking news about an overdose on drugs; many would have believe the headlines would have read “Actor Corey Feldman Found Dead” and not the one we all woke up to this morning, that had it the other way around. Both Coreys had a lot of good times and their fans saw them as the best of friends on and off the big screen in Hollywood movies. The reason I mention Corey Feldman, is because you really can’t have one without the other. They were like twins, brothers, or maybe just like peanut butter and jelly. They went together and they was a perfect fit for each other. As a fan, I admire both Coreys and sad to see one-half gone today; when I woke up to see that actor Corey Haim was found dead in the early morning hours in Burbank, California.

Corey Haim was only 38 years old and even though he was took away from us all too soon, he has lived more in his 38 years; than most of us will ever live in our own lives. We could live to be 100 years old and I think Corey Haim would have still lived a fuller life. He was very young when he started acting and met up with his good friend Corey Feldman. Both of the Coreys played in a lot of good movies, but I think the one I like most or will remember the most is a 1992 movie called Blown Away. This movie featured Corey Haim, Corey Feldman, and Nicole Eggert. We got to see little Jamie from Charles in Charge grow up in this one and she wasn’t so innocent in this Corey Haim flick.

Corey Haim also had an innocent start in Hollywood with one of his early movies called Silver Bullet. The 1985 movie Silver Bullet was one of my favorite Corey Haim movies. I have seen this movie about a dozen times and even as an adult now, I still like to watch this one. Corey plays a crippled kid in a wheelchair, but wait until his uncle Red (Gary Busey) fixes up that wheelchair. I don’t know anyone that didn’t like to see Marty (played by Corey Haim), his sister and actor Gary Busey as Uncle Red take on a werewolf. This is one of Stephen King’s best movies and it’s a must-see for anyone who hasn’t ever seen Silver Bullet with Corey Haim. If any TV stations have a Corey Haim tribute this weekend, you can bet that Silver Bullet will be one of the movies featured.

Corey Haim was one of the good guys. For anyone that grew up in the 1980’s, you could see Corey Haim on all the TV channels and on all the covers for the teen magazines. He was a big 80’s teen idol and there weren’t many that were bigger than Corey Haim, if there was any. All the guys wanted to be him and the girls wanted to be with him. He was certainly one of the teen legends from the 1980’s; in which that decade produced so many teen idols in both male and female variety. You can talk about Michael J. Fox, Kirk Cameron, Corey Feldman, Scott Baio, and all the other popular ones and Corey Haim was right up there with them all. The female teen idols from the 1980’s like Nicole Eggert or Alyssa Milano was also good friends with Corey Haim. Alyssa Milano was “Sam” on Who’s the Boss and I saw earlier on CNN News where they was showing a quote from her on her Twitter page in regards to the passing away of Corey Haim.

Corey Haim’s life today can be called a tragic one and one that didn’t have a happy ending on March 10th. If you were doing the story of Corey Haim’s life on March 9th in 2010; then you would have seen a great Hollywood story and one that was taking a few bumps as he was approaching 40. Now we will never get to see a 40 year-old Corey Haim, due to an accidental over dose in Burbank, California in the early morning hours local time. I look forward to seeing which TV stations will honor the legacy of Corey Haim and all the upcoming specials that will soon be airing his life story. RIP Corey Haim…

Too bad my home doesn’t have a home theater seating design set up. If I had about 8 of these seats in my home now, you could bet they would be filled with my friends this weekend and next weekend too. We love watching the college basketball games on TV and I already have a 50″ television in place. I only need these cool seats that recline and have the beverage holders on each side of them and I would be ready to host a basketball party!

Both of my teams have to play well starting tomorrow; for them to secure a spot in the NCAA tourneys this year. I need for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets to beat the North Carolina Tar Heels in the ACC; then the Georgia Bulldogs have a late start time tomorrow in their game with the Razorbacks from Arkansas. These will be the two big games on my schedule tomorrow in college basketball and will also have to find a way to watch the Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks play an NBA game. So I have 3 basketball games to watch tomorrow night and a 50 inch screen to watch them on. Too bad I will be laying down on the couch to watch them by myself, because I would prefer to have company over and a few of those stadium-style seats to sit on. Good luck to your favorite college teams and maybe we both can make it to the Final Four this year in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Nascar President Mike Helton had a chance to lay down the law and set an example, but he failed to do so. He only thought Edward’s actions was worth a slap on the wrist as Carl Edwards is now on probation and will be allowed to race in the next Nascar race. This decision might be fine for Mike Helton and his other co-workers that make up the Nascar officiating crews, but it’s not working with the folks in Atlanta. Helton might want to take a step back and think about his decision again, because he doesn’t understand that people are wanting to get back at Carl Edwards. If Carl Edwards would have did this move against Dale Earnhardt Junior, there would probably be snipers lined-up the next time Edwards came back to Atlanta.

Mike Helton also fails to realize that he doesn’t have his own medical staff to treat serious injuries. All Nascar injuries and those that could have threaten lives would have been left for the medical professionals in Atlanta to take care of. Atlanta is saying “no thanks” to the poor leadership of Mike Helton and is now deciding if Mike Helton, Nascar, or Carl Edwards will even be allowed to return to the state of Georgia. It’s possible that Mike Helton may have forced Nascar out of the biggest southern state for Nascar Racing and not even know it. Georgia authorities may even seek legal action against Carl Edwards, if they can find any loop holes in the current Nascar contracts and how they pertain to the state of Georgia and Georgia laws. The result of all of this could turn out to be an all out ban on Nascar driving in the Peach State and it won’t entirely be Carl Edwards fault. No one was even considering a Nascar ban, until Mike Helton failed to hand down proper punishment against Carl Edwards.

If you’re a current Nascar driver, the rules have now been laid down by Mike Helton. If another driver on the track makes you mad or bumps your car, you’re free to go after him and regardless of how bad you wreck him, you will only receive probation for your actions. Even though Brad Keselowski’s life was in serious danger, this is fine by Mike Helton and Nascar. Mike Helton showed absolutely no leadership skills this week and apparently he could care less if Brad Keselowski is on the Nascar Circuit or not; judging by the way he let Carl Edwards off in this latest incident in Atlanta. I’m glad to see Atlanta officials taking matters in their own hands and taking up for the medical workers that would have had to perform life-saving procedures, if Keselowski would have needed any on Sunday in Atlanta.
