Looking for a good catfish bait can really be simple. Some people believe in just taking table scraps, and keeping them in some type of container until they rotten real good. Then taking the rotting scraps and tossing them in the water to where you are fishing at. This is a good way to attract fish. Not only will the catfish come, but look for carps as well.
One catfish bait I have had some luck with, is really simple to prepare. Just stop at the store and by some chicken livers and vanilla flavoring as you are on your way fishing. While still at the store, just open the chicken livers up and poor a small portion of the vanilla flavoring in. Put the lid back on, then head to your fishing hole. By the time you get there, the vanilla flavoring will have soaked in enough to the liver, making it more attractive to catfish. It smells pretty good, but I don’t think catfish can smell. So it’s something the vanilla flavoring puts in the water, and the catfish senses, pick it up through their skin. Try this the next time you go catfishing, and tell me how it turned out.Click here for reuse options!
