When I get free time and that hasn’t been much lately, I do like to get on the golf course and hit a few balls. I’m not that great of a golfer and most of the time I have no idea where my golf balls are going. It is a fun sport and I really do like the game of golf. Since I don’t have much time to play right now, I would like to take a vacation, but not any vacation, a golfing vacation is what I had in mind. Doesn’t a golfing vacation sound fun? I know everyone that has ever picked up a golf club before knows who Robert Trent Jones is and he was a great golfer. I live in Canton, Georgia and this is where lots of family members live that are related to the great Bobby Jones. His grandpa built a successful business in Canton that was known as the Canton Cotton Mills and these buildings are still standing in our city today. There are many golf courses designed by Robert Trent Jones and the Masters in Augusta, Georgia are also his design. I would certainly choose the Waterway Hills Golf Club as one of my golf courses to play and not sure on the others just yet; since they are so many places to play golf in Myrtle Beach. If you’re looking for a place to play golf all week long and want a huge selection of courses to choose from, how could you not choose Myrtle Beach as your golfing vacation destination?

Since June has already arrived for this year, I’m sure most families have their summer vacations planned and all the reservations have already taken place. Most families ony take 1 vacation a year, so you may be booked for your limit this year. Williamsburg is located in the great state of Virginia and would be a great place for the whole family to enjoy. The old world meets the new world here and I know the adults would enjoy the flavors of the old world better than the kids would. I’m sure the kids wouldn’t mind a little time at Busch Gardens theme park or Water Country USA water park and both of these are very close to Williamsburg, Virginia. There is great shopping available in this area and also a good choice for first class dining restaurants. I love the food places on my vacations and Williamsburg easily passes my food test, I have in place for choosing great places to visit.

Go ahead and add this to the list of possible travel destinations for this year or for the family vacation list of 2010. You can also stay at a nice resort while visiting Williamsburg and there is a Westgate in this part of Virginia. People that travel up and down the east coast of the USA to get to their travel destinations, may want to make a slight detour and spend just a day or two in Williamsburg. Virginia is a great place to take a break on a long driving trip and a chance to soak up some rich history that is found in this part of the country. If you own a RV and like to take long trips in it; then you may want to make North Carolina a future spot for your travel destinations. I love the state of North Carolina and you are always just minutes from the beach or a trip to the beautiful mountains in North Carolina. Anyone that is getting ready for a trip to Alaska will want to check out the cabins in Denali. These Denali Cabins are located near the entrance to the Denali Park. The park is a national park in Alaska and it’s always a popular place to visit for tourists and travelers. I love the look of these cabins and I think it would be the best way to enjoy a trip or vacation to the state of Alaska. There is just so much beauty and wildlife in Alaska and I think these cabins offer the best way to experience it all.

You can take tips on Travel Alaska . Alaska Travel opportunities may decrease in the future if we don’t stop the effects of global warming or the new term they use now “climate change“. The trips for now are still going on and you better hurry if want an Alaskan tour or the chance to stay in one of those great Denali Cabins you can find near Denali National Park.

How nice would a vacation in 2009 be if you had the chance to go to a Myrtle Beach Resort? I think that would be a vacation I could get excited about. If you like to have fun in the sun and going to the beach is your idea of a vacation; then Myrtle Beach is a perfect destination for any traveler. Everything in and around Myrtle Beach makes it a great place to visit, but staying at some of those nice Myrtle Beach Resorts would be a vacation in itself. You don’t need the sandy beaches or waves from the Atlantic Ocean if you got the chance to stay in one of these resorts. There would be a lot of things that would become secondary, if you and your family got the opportunity to experience a few days at a resort.

Who would enjoy these resorts in Myrtle Beach the most? I think the golfers would be the answer to that question. Playing a little golf and working on your game during your vacation is one of the many benefits a resort can offer. You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy a stay at one of these resorts and golfers don’t have to go to a resort to play golf in Myrtle Beach either. Do you like to play golf on your vacation? I know some people see the sport like it’s a workout and unless you have a good stroke, you may find your self doing a lot of walking. Does your family take more than one vehicle on long trips or for a ride to the beach or mountains? I know ours do many times each year and we have always talked about getting CB radios in our vehicles. I have now found an easier way to communicate on those long family trips. A 30 year old man in China was aboard a flight that was carrying about 150 other passengers on board. The Chinese Government is now trying to track down all the members that were aboard that same flight to China as the new flu enters the mainland of China. It’s a growing concern around the world for everyone and now the most populated country on the planet is reporting cases of the H1N1 flu strain or more commonly known as Swine Flu.

A 3rd man in the United States has passed away and his death is being blamed on the new flu virus. It seems this new strain is causing some lethal problems for some that do get infected. Most are recovering from the swine flu and it’s not much different than the seasonal flu or influenza that kills thousands every year. Most of the northern hemisphere is entering the warm months of summer and should see a decrease in the number of cases being reported. The southern hemisphere may just be at the start of their flu seasons and they are probably seeking a flu vaccination much more aggressively than the people living in the northern parts of the planet. There are about 4,300 cases that have been reported world-wide for the new strain of virus that is sweeping the globe.

I know the Vegas vacations are always popular and Las Vegas might just be the top U.S. spot for vacations.

The new Major League Baseball season is now open for business. Baseball began on Sunday night and now all of the teams are in action right now. It’s strange how they schedule games in some of the northern climates this early in the season. I think they should strive for more warm weather ball parks, so all games could get played this time of the year. They play spring ball in the states of Florida and Arizona. I think they should start the season at the spring facilities for each Major League team. Let the fans that support these teams in Arizona and Florida get to see a real game or one that counts in the standings. If they would just extend the spring session and let these games count on the real schedule, we wouldn’t have canceled games this early in the year. I’m sure there would be an increase in Orlando vacations being booked for the spring, but this would prevent the games getting postponed. I think the people in Florida and Arizona deserve to see a few games that count in the standings for the teams they support each year. They get to root for their teams in a real game and Major League Baseball will get 3 extra weeks for Mother Nature to warm up the rest of the country.
