Who Will Stop Lindsay Lohan?

Lindsay Lohan Kisses Justice Good-Bye One More Time!

Here we go again! Unbelievable justice in a California courtroom today, as Lindsay Lohan gets a spanking from judge for 30 day jail sentence. Yep, Lindsay Lohan sentenced to 30 days in jail. She really got her goose cooked good today, right? Well not exactly. If anyone watched the court room proceedings on November 2, it was a disgrace to the California Justice System, Men, Citizens of the United States of America, Residents of California, and every Common American Criminal who has had to serve jail time for drugs, theft, or violating the terms of probation. The longer this injustice goes on, the more I get confused. So I do apologize to all those who have followed the Drug Addict Lindsay Lohan recently. Thief Lindsay Lohan has a long rap sheet, so no way can I mention it all, but I will try to highlight the important parts and recommend what us “men” and “common folk” living in America should do about this injustice, from the Probation Violator Lindsay Lohan.

First off, please don’t think I am naive about how justice works in America in the 21st century. I realize fame and money can go a long ways in our court rooms and justice systems today. I understand that completely and I have applied that to the Lindsay Lohan legal troubles and all of Lohan’s court troubles. In my opinion, she has used up that fame, money, and star-power long ago. Two judges back, you really thought she had reached her limit, but obviously not.

Just looking at today’s 30 day jail sentence; which she will not have to do 30 days. The main reason for not doing 30 days, is the over crowded jail system in California right now. So we can all understand that. What most common people in America and California don’t understand, is how she can plead guilty to some charges and if the sentence is not to her liking, she gets a new chance to go back to court and plead innocent. Sounds hard to believe, right? Just go look at the California Judge today and she is very clear, that the following sentence is one that Lindsay Lohan can turn down. We actually have a judge giving a sentence, to a criminal who is pleading guilty, but allowing the criminal to take other paths, if this sentence is too harsh or one she can not do. I mean really?

It didn’t stop there ladies and gentlemen. It gets even more sickening, when she has to serve this 30 days in jail. In the Judge’s own words, we got to hear things like “I know you have some work to do this week, so you don’t have to begin your jail sentence right away. You will have 1 week to decide, when you want to go to jail. As long as you choose to go, before November 9th.” How many of you out there got sentenced to jail, but was allowed to wait 1 week or choose the date you could serve your sentence? Let’s keep in mind, she doesn’t even have to accept this order by the judge. Not only does she get to pick her first day in jail, but she also has the option, to turn it completely down and have a new trial for her latest antics.

This is not the first time, Lindsay Lohan got to pick her first day in jail. Back in July of 2010, I was writing a Lindsay Lohan Jail Blog Post, about how she got away with so many things. Since that time, she had been leaving community service early. She was suppose to be there for 45 minutes and was allowed to leave 15 minutes, for each day she was there. These were the lucky places that got to work with Lohan. In other situations, she would not show up for community service at a local California Morgue or acted childish and didn’t attend some days, when she was asked to be at a women’s shelter. It is interesting to see a pattern of jobs and people who cross the Lindsay Lohan Injustice Path and their feelings about her. The women’s shelter does not want her back and other community service places said the same thing. Only the morgue agreed to accept her back and the Judge is allowing that to continue. Lindsay’s old probation officer does not want her either. Imagine that, an employee of the justice system, who works with bad people and people with “smart mouths” all the time and they couldn’t even handle her. Or perhaps, it was the probation officer’s way of saying “she needs a long jail sentence and probation is too good for her.” Even with the judges giving Lohan a break and only giving her things like probation and community service, she still manages to mess it up. When is enough, really enough?

Let’s face it people of California and my patriotic American friends. Lindsay Lohan has been given break after break and if the Legal System refuses to correct it, I do believe it is up to us to dish out punishment to her. The public and media owe Ms. Lohan nothing! The legal system in our country is allowing a drug addict to be in public and driving on our roads; where she can continue to steal and disrespect authority at every level. There is a thing called “taking justice in your own hand”, you know how people try to form a lynch mob and hang someone without the courts. Often this is not a good idea and can be very dangerous. If we don’t act and make an example now, we will have some family to shed tears for a family member who is now dead, due to Lohan’s attitude and actions. A public vigilante, who loves their family, home, neighborhood, community, town, city, state, and country does have to react sometimes. I believe if no court or judge in America is willing to convict Lindsay Lohan to the full extent of the Law, it is up to the public to serve this justice up.

If you know of any employer hiring Lindsay Lohan, please ban their products, TV shows, or Hollywood Movies. Don’t you or any member of your family spend money, on anything Lindsay Lohan touches. If you’re a female and get in a jail cell with her anytime soon, please teach her a good lesson for all of us. Putting her in a headlock and delivering 100 punches or more to her head and face, would still not be enough for this rich criminal.

We hear about discrimination all the time. Rev. Al Sharpton runs to the rescue of black people, who get mistreated or he feels is not getting a fair shot of justice. Mr. Sharpton doesn’t hold much weight with anyone, since he doesn’t run around saving white people, Mexicans, Asians, or other folks with a different skin color. Discrimination works two ways and if you call it one way, you must see it the other way.

Since we have a thing in our country called “male chauvinist” , we must have something to balance it out and it would mean that a “female chauvinist” exists too. In court today, we had a female attorney for Lindsay Lohan, the prosecuting person in the court room (who we never saw a face for) was female, and the Honor her self was a lady in a justice robe of the law. All of these women and Lindsay Lohan being a woman and giving her such breaks today (November 2nd), it does paint the picture of our female chauvinist in America. Don’t believe me? Well it has been the men judges in California, who have been revoking the probations and giving Ms. Lohan the stearnest warnings. Where was our male judge friend from October 19th, who took away Lindsay’s probation? Heck, one female judge a year or two back, said she didn’t even feel Lindsay Lohan was a drug addict??? What was that about? Sounds like a female chauvinist to me! Women continue to look after Lohan in these court rooms and it does make you wonder, what favors are being passed under the table. Since some of these women judges in California, don’t appear to be “straight” or maybe they would prefer an actress like Lindsay Lohan on a date, instead of an actor like Brad Pitt.

Lindsay Lohan is a convicted thief and a convicted drug abuser. Her legal sentences for over 3 years have been very lenient and in her best favor each time. Even when she is convicted and punished to something like 120 days of house arrest. She can still only manage to do 35 days of a simple, cup cake sentence like that. Yes, I understand staying at home for 120 days would not be the easiest thing in the world to do. I did watch the movie Disturbia over the Halloween Holidays and saw what a pain house arrest could be for someone. I have also heard about the sound of keys and doors closing in jail all the time. Large men and women giving threats to smaller individuals in jail. The horrible food on the menu and having to use the bathroom facilities with your other convicted and punished buddies. While house arrest may not be as easy, as most think it would be, often jail is harder than most think it is. And this goes for the people, who think jail is bad now. They actually think of it as worse, when they come out, as opposed to going in the big house.

Who will stop Lindsay Lohan? Hopefully an average citizen in our society or a criminal in our jail system. If it is a judge that ever gives the ex-actress a true punishment, more than likely it will indeed be a male judge. Too bad the judge who revoked the probation had to be dismissed from following through and the money in Hollywood got to a “bought judge” and a lady judge in California.

California has been corrupt for some time now. The college football team USC Trojans is currently serving some punishment for their crimes and it took forever for this sentence to come down. Even as USC plays its college games now, they are still in recruiting violations. No college football recruits should enter USC Trojan University any earlier than 2022. The current punishment does not run that long, but since the Trojan Football Team is still breaking rules and using money to pay high school athletes, they will be punished again. In fact, the USC football team should lose their eligibility to play against any NCAA Teams until 2019. Mixing good and honest schools with corrupt California colleges, is not a good idea. KirK Herbstreet from ESPN supports this cheating system. He continues to help them, contributes his own cash to the USC  Program (which pays high school players to play college football for them), and this should be noted somewhere. Basically, the ESPN sports network is giving money to Kirk Herbstreet, to pay for better athletes in the college football recruiting game. ESPN showed their greatest support last night for the high school recruits, when Brent Musberger and Kirk Herbstreet picked to host a USC and Standford football game; when the best game of that night was played in Atlanta, Georgia, between the unbeaten Clemson Tigers and the severely under ranked Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

Sorry to ramble so long about football corruption in Cali, but this goes hand in hand, with the Lindsay Lohan justice case. Everything in California is for sale and this includes college football players, games, coaches, and athletics; while the Hollywood side of things and the judges are all in the same boat.

If you live in California and in the same city as Lindsay Lohan. Then please ask for the same treatment. After you been convicted for over 3 years; may you get to pick a day you can start a 30 day jail sentence too. In fact, I would love some brave soul out there now, to follow the exact same steps as Lindsay Lohan. Do everything she has done, but try to be a little bit better along the way and see if you can get the Lindsay Lohan treatment. Every time they try to give you a harsher sentence, just cry Lindsay Lohan all the way to the slammer. Justice is not blind and it does see folks like Lindsay Lohan as someone better for society than me, since a person in my situation would have already been in jail and given a much stronger punishment. And more than likely, it would have been from a woman judge!

***About the Author***

The author of this blog post, felt the need to use strong language, in a legal matter he is very concerned about. He has never spent one day in a jail or in a court room, for anything worse than a speeding ticket or two. All comments made in, for, or against Lindsay Lohan was a personal, emotional, and heart-felt message. For any statements made, which the 1st Amendment Right of Free Speech does NOT cover; then please take into account, today is November 2nd and it was shortly after the Lindsay Lohan Trial in California. No grounds for premeditation could be held against the author, since all comments for, about, in favor, or against actress Lindsay Lohan was made immediately after the ruling in a California Courtroom. All comments for, in favor, or against ESPN sports announcer Kirk Herbstreet has been said in truth, since the author has viewed the person in question on TV numerous times and heard numerous statements; which could in some ways prove validity to the comments he made. All comments about ESPN and USC College and the Trojan Football Team are protected by the 1st Amendment Right and if not protected, the author used old legal material found online, that clearly states, that the USC football program in California, used money in some way to pay their football athletes or their football team’s family members. The current coach is no longer with them and coaches for the Seattle Seahawks; which a lot of blame went toward. There is significant proof that more money is still being paid to the 2010, 2011, and 2012 football recruits; which will likely result in further punishment and legal action for the University of Southern California’s Trojan Football School and Team.

Batman: The Animated Series

Thanks for the post from Darrick Franklin

Sometimes, it is the older shows that you really remember and that are really enjoyable. For years, I was fascinated watching the original Batman: The Animated Series. Even as the years have gone by, I still enjoy watching these cartoons. They came out sometime in the mid to late nineties. It was a different type of cartoon than nearly anyone had seen on American television before.

Batman was a darker, angrier figure than most other cartoon heroes. His villains, while sometimes silly, were usually always portrayed with some sort of sadness or humanity in their personality. It was very complex storytelling for what was supposed to be a children’s cartoon.

The animation was also very original. It is very often imitated now in the newer cartoon shows, but it was very original back then. The setting of Gotham City was also very unique for the time. Instead of just being a large generic city, the animators developed it as a sort of 1950′s art deco nightmare. Many of the characters wore double breasted suits and Fedoras and criminals used tommy guns.

The complexity of the storytelling, the stylized animation and characters and even the moody music and plots that ended sadly, it all combined to leave a lasting impression on me. It also set the standard for what animation should be.

Late at night, I still seek out reruns of Batman: The Animated Series on satellite TV, that I got after seeing these www.directstartv.com. Fortunately, there seems to be an audience for the show because I often find it.

  • What is my Favorite Talk Show?

    Thanks to Wm Rowe

I love watching talk shows throughout the day. I can sit down and watch hours of talk shows continuously. I watched my favorite talk show on Direct TV yesterday.

My favorite talk show is The Tyra Banks Show. The Tyra Banks show is pretty popular in our area. My wife and I enjoy watching her show every day. She is a very intelligent young lady that is on the rise. I have been following her career for a couple of years.

The Tyra Banks Show always features intriguing people. This is the primary reason why I follow her show. I avoid watching daytime television talk shows that fail to feature interesting guests. Tyra always makes sure that her guests are comfortable while on the set.

My favorite episodes always concentrate on dating and health issues. I am a single man and I enjoy gathering invaluable information from her guests. Episodes concentrating on health topics are also very interesting to me. One of Tyra’s guest shared critical information that has helped me lower my blood pressure.

The Tyra Banks show also features episodes that focuses on social issues. Unemployment, crime, and politics are issues that we should be involved with. One episode opened my eyes to many of the problems that we have in our society today. This is an incredible show that should last for a period of time.

  • Atlanta Bans ESPN Sports

The folks putting together ESPN Sports these days are getting just a little too big for their britches. It doesn’t seem to matter to them, when they totally mess up on a sportscast and the city of Atlanta is still waiting for their apology from the TV channel that claims to be the “leader in sports“. Well these “leaders” forced fans of the Atlanta Hawks to recently sit through a nationally televised basketball game, where it was more like a local B0ston sports channel.

For a solid two hours, Hawks fans were repeatedly told why their team was not good, why they are not as good as the Boston Celtics, why their team was not yet championship caliber, why their players did not play a good style of ball in the NBA, how a team like Boston was suited to win in this league, and about a dozen other negatives toward the Hawks; while the Celtics was the most perfect basketball team ever.

Even after these two hours and then the scored was basically tied, we still heard rant after rant how the Celtics would fix their problems and how the Atlanta Hawks weren’t even trying to correct their mistakes. For about 15 minutes, we heard about a few mistakes the Celtics had made and it wasn’t like them to do things like this. Then 5 minutes later, the teams were walking off the court and Atlanta had won handily over the Boston Celtics. Even with the teams walking off the court, the Atlanta Hawks got no credit for winning that game, after they played the worse first half of basketball a team could ever play in this league. At no time did anyone from ESPN give Atlanta credit for beating the almighty Celtics and especially after they played such a horrible game.

ESPN sportscaster Hubie Brown lives in Atlanta and we know how to find him. We know the places he frequents and we will let him know his mistakes up close and personal. As for ESPN, the whole city of Atlanta, Georgia and the Peach State has you on a permanent lifetime ban. Until the producers of the ESPN  station and some of their announcers will apologize for their horrible game call for the Celtics and Hawks, toward the end of the season. It was a very bias broadcast and the good basketball fans of Atlanta did not need to sit through that. Let’s face it, the better team won and at no time, did the basketball analysts from ESPN, the sports broadcasters from ESPN, or any other employees recognize that the Atlanta Hawks was a lot better than their opponents in green. You guys took stats and yesterday’s players and game and did a live broadcast; while living in the past. It was horrible and the worse sports broadcast I had ever seen. At no point, did ESPN reliaze the Atlanta Hawks were going to win that game and they were going to win convincingly. Let’s give credit to the boys from Hotlanta and recognize what these young men were doing and how they shut down a team that had them beat (according to ESPN voices).

The Atlanta Hawks still have not got a fair shake with their match up with the Orlando Magic. Will the Hawks win the series against the Magic and ESPN will still be telling us how the Magic will do in round 2? It’s hard to figure these guys out, but obviously they shouldn’t be doing sports of any kind, if they can’t recognize when the tides have turned and when another team has gotten better; than the teams that use to be better than them.

It’s a new day dawning in Atlanta and the city has a lot to look forward too. If any ESPN workers or employees are found in the state of Georgia, by all means let them have it! Feel free to yell, scream, and laugh at every person who represents the ESPN sports station and is found in the Peach State. If they are on Georgia soil, you know they would rather be somewhere else, so let’s send them somewhere else.

***THE CITY OF ATLANTA AND THE STATE OF GEORGIA; HEARBY BAN THE ESPN SPORTS NETWORK FROM THEIR CITY, SPORTS TEAMS, SPORTS FACILITIES, AND IN THEIR STATE***

  • The television series Gold Rush Alaska could have been good, but unfortunately the Hoffman family had to be a part of the show. If Todd Hoffman isn’t the scum of the Earth; then I don’t know who is. I can tell you one thing, Mr. Dorsey has more class, knowledge, and respect for people in his little pinky finger; than Todd Hoffman and his whole crooked family has.

Jimmy Dorsey tried to help and he did his best. His lovely wife and children was a great supporting cast for this Discovery TV Show. It was great to laugh at Jimmy, because he did do some things peculiar, but nothing to hate the guy over. Todd Hoffman is the one to blame here and I noticed this right from the start. You just have to go back, while they are all still in Oregon and when they begin to load up for the trip north to Alaska.

During the loading process in Oregon, Todd was talking about a friend he knew, which got killed by a broken chain. It was the same thing they were doing now, as the crew of gold miners were trying to move some very heavy stuff around, by tying chains to it and then pulling it with some type of heavy machinery. So Todd tells us about his friend getting killed in this process and that’s a sad story, but Jimmy Dorsey was not around, when Todd was talking about this. As faith would have it, the chain did snap and if it would have hit someone, it could have killed them. When this event took place, Jim said that exact line “that could have killed someone” and Todd jumped all over Dorsey for no reason. Todd had no right and Dorsey didn’t mean anything by his comments. Anybody would have said that exact line, during a situation like that. It was this point right here, where I did not like Todd Hoffman. Too bad Todd’s Dad did not see this event or maybe he would know a little bit more, about how Dorsey was being attacked by Todd.

    No Guts No Gloreeeeeeeee!

Jack Hoffman is the father of Todd Hoffman and he had a lot of catchy phrases that helped to make the show popular in Porcupine Creek, Alaska. Jack seems like a real good guy, somebody you wouldn’t mind working for or getting a little dirt under your fingernails for. He was really the only miner on the trip from Oregon, who had any gold mining experience and his abilities was about as limited as Todd’s was on the trip. Both men read about finding gold and telling stories and hearing stories; than they did actually going out and finding the heavy metal stuff.

I did like Jack Hoffman, until I found out he was a thief. Listen up troop in Porcupine Creek. Jack Hoffman and his son Todd are robbing ya’ll blind. Jack goes in to count the gold by his self, so he can pocket some of it. This is why Jack and Todd did not like Dakota coming in and helping with the gold clean-up efforts in Porcupine Creek. Not long after Dakota came into camp, did the Hoffman’s suddenly run out of money. The trip down to Oregon was a joke. Todd took a huge chunk of gold dust with him, because he had to sell it, without Dakota finding out. I believe the Hoffman’s planned to hide this gold, until their trip was over and sneak it back to Oregon. This plan didn’t work, when the land owner insisted Dakota go in and help the Oregon crew of rookie gold miners.

Now Jack and Todd knew they had a problem. So they planned to sneak the gold out of Alaska and down to Oregon. The Discovery Channel would not leave Todd’s side in Oregon, so he was able to slip off and give the gold to his sister. He asked to borrow about 40,000 dollars, because he figured he had brought this much gold down from Alaska (which he stole from Jim Dorsey, James Harness, Jim Thurber, Chris Doumitt, and Todd’s best friend Greg Remsburg); not to mention Fred “Dakota” Hurt and the landowner of Porcupine Creek. Hey Greg, with a friend like Todd Hoffman, who needs enemies, right?

So Todd’s sister said she would “think about it” meaning she would think about lending Todd the money or not. What she did, was take the stolen gold and sold it. So now you have Todd and his daddy Jack Hoffman being the crooked miners in the camp and you have to watch this; while you go gold mining. Especially with the amount of money the Hoffmans put up and the pressure and stress they was under to pull through. Todd said it his self, he is just a fat kid that has no business mining. This is true. He did very little work, yet he steals about 40 grand of gold or possibly more and only brings back 25,000.  Now the Gold Rush Alaska TV Show made it look like Todd’s sister lent him the money, but she didn’t lend him nothing. After all, she must know how awful of a person Todd really is, if she is his sister. Poor Jack was real nervous about handing the gold off to Todd too, because I think Todd pocketed some of this gold for him self. He didn’t give it all to his sister and even Jack got robbed from too. Who knows, maybe Jack has been robbing from Todd under the tent; while they secretly count their money. Just a bad situation for everybody involved; when you have the Hoffman Clan barking out the orders, making the others feel guilty, cause they put up so much of their own money, but yet, they are robbing gold on the side from the other miners. The only gold miner from Oregon who is really lucky, is Jimmy Dorsey. He got out of there, while the getting was good. Too bad the other miners in camp, don’t see the Dad & Son duo stealing the gold for their self and not splitting it up equally. All of you guys made a nice little profit in the first season, if you would have been given your fair shares of gold. Instead, the Hoffman’s make a profit and sure they are ready to go back again and rip these same hard workers off again. Why not?

    Lucky Gold Miner from Oregon

All of you guys need to follow Jack and Todd around and especially in the tent, when it is time to count up the profits from the gold strikes. The Hoffmans are cheaters and look after each other up there, since they are family. Too bad a good man like Jim Dorsey got caught up with a bunch of thieves like the Hoffman clan. James and Jim, both of you two men seem like good guys. I would take you on my gold mining crew any day of the week. I would treat you better than Todd Hoffman and his Pops. Don’t let them brainwash you two and make you think all the blame is on Dorsey’s shoulders. Todd used Dorsey as his scape goat. After Dorsey left Porcupine Creek, Todd had no one else to blame, so he begin to point at everyone; while everyone was pointing back at him.

Todd Hoffman – Thief & Control Freak

If you go back to Alaska with the Hoffman Gold Stealers from the Discovery Channel, be sure to go to the tent and count the gold with these two crooked gold miners. I believe the Hoffman’s are trying to abandon Porcupine Creek, so they don’t have Fred Hurt (Dakota) looking over their shoulders and keeping them straight. Fred came into camp and helped you guys. But nobody could see it, because the Hoffman’s wanted to tell people what to do and be the controllers and bosses. Sometimes a boss has to take a backseat and allow someone else to lead. This is what makes a good boss, a great boss. Todd was too jealous and this is why he didn’t like Fred in their little crew of gold miners.

Wrestling in Prime Time on TV

There use to be a couple of wrestling shows to come on during the week and they had prime time spots on the air. I’m not sure if they are still coming on or not. These events were on some of the lesser viewed cable and satellite channels. I think with reality TV so popular, but on a decline recently, we would have an audience to support prime time wrestling again on television. If I was a big executive for one of the major networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX; I would explore this wrestling avenue and see if there is a male and female audience to support it in prime time. Generally the prime time hours consist of 8 to 10 pm, but it does expand an hour in each direction for a 7 to 11 pm time frame.

You could build up a few characters based on geography, professions, or any other groups and create teams for them to represent. Instead of having the housewives of an American city doing nothing, you could have them wrestling against another city of housewives in America. Or have a group of wrestlers from the animal control and dog pounds wrestling against men and women from the U.S. Postal Service. I could just see it now, where an animal control employee brings out a big dog on a leash and is pretending to unleash it on a group of scared postal workers.

This wrestling thing could even replace American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, and other over rated prime time shows, which have already had their 15 minutes of fame. What do you think? Does my idea have a chance to be a big time hit? Or just another wasted spot of TV air time that failed to educate our society better?

  • Play Lady Gaga Games Online

Lady Gaga is not only one of the most famous music performers right now, but she is also a huge role model for young girls. All the girls who are Lady Gaga fans, will be happy to know, they can play a lot of different Lady Gaga games online. Lady Gaga in Concert, Lady Gaga Makeover, Lady Gaga Gossip, and Dress Up Lady Gaga are just some of the girl games your young daughter could be playing online now. Even if the little lady of the house is not a Lady Gaga fan, she can still choose a girl game to play online, from a huge selection of games to choose from.

Some of the older girls may think these games are a little too childish. There are some games available for the teen girls to play too. I saw dozens of kissing games the older gals would probably enjoy playing more. All of these games seem pretty tame, but I believe every girl would enjoy playing some of these “girl only” games. Who knows, the little man of the house might enjoy them too? If so, parents may have to divide up the computer time between sister and brother, so each kid has a chance to play some of these modern games online.

These games sound cool, where do I go to try them out? If you would like to see the Lady Gaga games, the kissing games, and other cool online games for girls, just go to: http://www.easygirlgames.com

After your daughter or the little girl in your life gets done playing a few of these games; please come back here and let me know what you thought about them. I think these online games look very hip. Let me know if your child thought they was hip too. Also, let me know which game she liked the best and estimate about how many different games she tried out. Did she stop playing on her own? Or did you have to force her to stop playing? I believe all the kids (boys too) would enjoy playing these games for girls online.

  • LeBron Gets Embarrassed in 2011 All Star Game

And once again his actions prove he is the best basketball player in the League today and the best to ever put on a NBA Jersey. Kobe Bryant was the greatest a few years ago, the greatest last year, and in 2011 he’s the top dog still. Number 24 in L.A. has not hung up the sneakers yet. Just ask LeBron James…lol

During the 2011 All Star Game in Los Angeles, the Lakers star player Kobe Bryant got the ball on a fast break for the Western Conference All Stars. From the Eastern Conference, we saw the little boy from South Beach, who likes to call his self the “King“. Not sure what he is the king of, but the Kobe Bryant Show is still in effect on the NBA courts. We actually saw LeBron try to play a little defense, as he went up in the air and tried to block Kobe’s dunk attempt. Kobe soared over LeBron James as usual and LeBron was left looking back up at the rim. He was surprised to see the ball go in, but I don’t know why.

Then to add insult to injury, LeBron tried to quickly inbound the ball, so this little dunk would quickly get erased. But that wasn’t happening! LeBron’s inbound pass was stolen by a member of the Western All Stars team and was quickly given back to Bryant. Now Kobe was above the 3 point line and decided to let it fly from there. Swooooosh! Nothing but net! In a matter of 4 seconds, we saw Kobe Bryant score 5 points over and off of LeBron’s errors. Not only was Kobe schooling the young feller from Ohio, but he was scoring more points than the clock could count off seconds! Now that’s a N-E-A-T-O Stat of the Game, right Ernie Johnson?

And what in the World is Charles Barkley watching these days? Going into this All Star Game, all we heard about was Carmelo Anythony being the best scorer in the NBA, according to Barkley from TNT Sports. Not only did Chuck think Carmelo was the top NBA scorer, but he gave 2nd place to Kevin Durant. Then when the topic of best player in the league came up and the folks from TNT was leaning toward Durant, Charles said “he better kill LeBron James then“. Yes, that is an exact quote from a former NBA player and current basketball analyst or commentator for TNT Sports in Atlanta, Georgia.

Surely Charles would want to take back his statement now, right? Wrong! He won’t admit it and he still believes LeBron is the best player in the League. Forget about asking the question “How many NBA titles does LeBron have?”, let’s ask a more basic one. What about, how many NBA Finals appearances has LeBron James made in his career? How many NBA Finals has Kobe Bryant won in the the last 2 years? For anyone to say or think LeBron is better than Kobe Bryant, better hop off the bandwagon now, because Kobe Bryant is the best NBA player ever. Yes, even better than Michael Jordan. Just look at the age each player was, when they begin to win NBA titles, MVP’s, etc… Let’s not forget, that Kobe has been pushed aside for the last few years in the MVP race, but we know who the MVP is, when we see the NBA Finals winner.

There was one more schooling lesson for King James in the All Star Game. The play where LeBron took a stance in the paint and it appeared Kobe was going to raise up for a jump shot at the foul line. Remember this play? LeBron bit on the fake and Kobe slid right by Lebron and laid the ball in so easily. This play was a good example of the Black Mamba teaching the over rated kid from Cleveland, how to play some ball. That’s all!

Don’t give Blake Griffin the keys to the NBA Hall of Fame yet. He got lucky in the fan voting for the 2011 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. He was even more lucky to get 8 first half minutes of playing time in the All Star Game. He has a little jumping ability and he’s a descent looking player. There is no way that he is one of the top 12 players from the Western Conference. I can think of 20 guys in the Western Conference alone, that I would rather have on my team right now, than the over rated Blake Griffin. He’s not all star material yet. Its sad to see him get into the All Star Game in his rookie (or 2nd year season) year. He’s a lot of hype right now and comes to the court without much delivery. He may develop into a great NBA All Star one day, but that day wasn’t Sunday!

Please, somebody out there needs to watch these games and quit making up their minds before the tip-off. At no time in Lebron’s career or any other current NBA player; had more skills than the Lakers Mamba number 24! Kobe is still the best player in the league and the best to ever play the game. Period!

  • Playing Online Slots is Fun

As long as you got a computer and you’re connected to the Web, you should never get bored. There is a million and one things you can do on the Internet. Recently I started playing online slots. I have always enjoyed the casino-style games, but haven’t played any in a long time. I just got a little bored and figured I could come on the computer and find something to do. None of my friends were around to talk on messenger, so I begin to play some free games on the computer.

After spending about an hour playing card games, I decided to try my luck with online slots. I was hooked immediately and didn’t stop playing, until the Sun was about to come up the next day. I stayed up all night playing a variety of different slot games. I think next time I will have to play for real money. I was just playing with fake online money this time. If I was using real money, I would have won a few hundred dollars for my efforts. Instead of winning play money, I would be a lot happier winning real cash money online. I would really like to win one of those progressive jackpots. These jackpots just keep going up, until some lucky player wins it all!

I don’t really have any slot machine secrets. While I was playing my favorite online slots, I would just keep my bets very low. After I did about 7 or 8 spins without winning, I would then increase my bet, so I would win more, when my bars did finally line up on the screen. After I won with my increased wager, I would go back to the minimum bet. So basically my strategy was to bet low every time, unless I went on a bad streak, then I would try to time my luck, with a really big bet. It didn’t always work and sometimes I paid the price for it. You just have to remember, to only spin 2 or 3 times with a big wager on the line. If you keep your bet high and your luck stays bad, you can go broke in a hurry. So try to time it out, but learn to take a hit and start all over again, before you lose all of your winnings. Be sure to come back here and let me know how you did. If you do plan to play a few slots online today.

  • The New Online Way to Read Books

The Internet has changed a lot of ways we use to do things. You may have seen a lot of the ways we now watch movies. Instead of always going to the rental stores to pick up and then return the movie, a better system was created. Netflix had a great idea of customers picking out their movies, sending the movies out, and allowing them to keep them as long as they needed to. Once a movie watcher decides he or she wants to see a new movie, they just return their other movie rentals and a new movie will be sent back out. People who love to read books, will be real happy to know, that now there is a place which offers Netflix for Books! It works just like the movies do, but its done with books instead.

Your probably wondering which books can you read and how big is the selection? Well you have a huge library of books to choose from at BooksFree.com. They have all of your favorite classics in stock; while they continue to get the newest and latest book titles on the shelf and ready for you to check-out or rent. This is a very simple 4 step process; which anybody can do.

    1. Create Your List of Books Online

    2. The Books Get Sent in the Mail to You for Free

    3. Take Your Time and Read the Books

    4. Send the Books Back for Free and Get New Ones!

Does that sound simple? It is! A lot of people who love to read books will be on board with this new approach to getting new books to read. Its just another example of how the Internet is making our lives better. The main reason why movie stores and the libraries are losing business, is because no one likes to return the books or movies. If you wait too long, you have to pay for late fees. There is never any late fees to pay at Books Free. You just sign up for a monthly plan of your choice, choose from the 1,000′s and 1,000′s of book titles in stock, and never have to worry about any shipping rates (sending books back or receiving books). Members are free to cancel their memberships at any time. This is the new online way to read books and I have a feeling those quiet libraries are going to get a lot quieter, once more people find out about Booksfree.

  • My Only Concert Ticket Line Story

I’m sure some of you have waited for hours and hours for a certain concert ticket to go on sale. Most people have a list of favorite singers or bands, they would do anything to see. Even if it means standing in the ticket line for hours or in some cases days. Well I have never camped out over night in a line, waiting for a concert ticket to be sold. I did make sure I was at the music store early, when I heard Def Leppard Tickets were going on sale in Atlanta, Georgia. I was prepared to do the over night thing and bring a sleeping bag to hold my place in line, but my friends told me other wise. They assured me a couple of hours in advance would be plenty of time to get tickets for Def Leppard. This wasn’t during their most popular days; when they were singing “pour some sugar on me”. This was about 7 or 8 years after their big hits from the late 80′s decade.

I arrived at the music store; which use to be called Turtles, but they don’t exist anymore. You always had to go to Turtles to buy the best tickets for concerts, sports, plays, or Houston Rodeo Tickets. I was the first person to show up at Turtles, to begin the ticket line outside of the store. I went to the front door and sat down and begin to wait. It was about 2 hours before the store was going to open up, so I didn’t have too long of a wait.

Soon others began to fall behind me and it got up to about 60 Def Leppard fans, waiting to buy a ticket as the store was about to open. I had got acquainted with the ladies in line with me and a good thing I did. After all of that time waiting in line, the store manager came out to say, we would be drawing numbers to see who gets to buy the first Def Leppard tickets. This was a big disappointment for me and especially since I was first in line.

Well as luck would have it, I got to reach in first and I pulled out a real high number. I don’t even think I was in the top 50. However, the lady right behind me drew out number 1. She was only going to buy 2 tickets for herself, so me and another stranger in line each got her to buy our tickets for us. There was a 6 ticket limit, but all 3 of us wanted 2 tickets a piece, so it worked out great!

I was so excited. The two concert tickets cost me $51 and some change. I gave the lady who bought my tickets for me, three 20 dollar bills ($60) and told her to just keep the change. It was the least I could do for her. I don’t know how friendly people are who buy Christina Aguilera Tickets or any other tickets for music stars, but the Def Leppard fans rule!

Now that Turtles music store no longer exists and the days of the Internet are here, people just have to click their mouses for great tickets. If you want to get Celtic Woman Tickets and you know they will sell out fast. You just have to be online and ready to order them, when they first become available. We don’t have to stand in those long lines anymore at the old-style shopping centers. I think some music fans probably miss the days of waiting in line and camping out over night. Maybe a special event will come along one day and pay tribute to these old-fashion ways of buying tickets and allow fans to wait in line again. I don’t know if you can buy lottery tickets online, but you can buy Family Values Tour Tickets online and about any other type of ticket you can think of.

In case anybody was wondering on where I actually got to sit at the concert, I can easily tell you that. Even though we got our tickets as soon as they appeared for sale, we didn’t get first row seats. Our seats were in the 2nd row at Philips Arena in Atlanta, but they were just as good as the front row. It was a great concert and Def Leppard brung the house down, as always!

  • Sports Betting on the Internet

Do you like to watch and play sports? Have you ever made a bet on a sporting event with your buddies? If you have, you may have had a little trouble collecting your winnings. The loser in sports bets doesn’t like to “cough” up the money, if you know what I mean. Did you know you could bet on sports on the Internet? It’s true! If you win on the Net, betting on sports, you can collect your winnings a little bit easier; than trying to get a friend or a co-worker to pay-up.

I have always loved watching sports on TV. I like all of the college sports and the professional sports too. When you know a certain team is playing well, but the main stream media doesn’t see it yet, it makes you feel like you have some inside information. I always wished there was a way, I could turn this sports knowledge into money. Now I believe I have found a way. I can start betting on these teams that most people don’t think they have a chance to win and rack up some big winnings, by betting on a few of these under dogs. There are websites online, which are set up to handle these sports bets online. Have you ever placed a bet online for a sporting event before?

Now that the Super Bowl is gone and all of the pro and college sports betting is over with in football. We have to focus on some of the other sports, which are still active. The NBA is still in action, as they are about to arrive at the midway point in their basketball season. Once the NBA All Star Game is over with and the 2nd half of the basketball season begins, I think I might look to place a few basketball bets online. Now is a good time to start with the NBA bets, since we have had a half season to watch the teams and see how each one is playing. I believe I could make some good basketball bets now, with all of the pro basketball games I have watched this year. I don’t really think home-court advantage is that big in the NBA, so I would be looking for some teams with good records, who would be on the road against a weaker opponent. I believe that would be my best formula for betting on basketball right now. Are there any NBA teams out there now, that you think will have a better 2nd half to the season, as opposed to their first half records? Please be sure to pass along any basketball tips you have in professional basketball and maybe we can put our heads together and can win some nice cash online!

  • Green Bay Packers #12 Aaron Rodgers

The foam Cheeseheads from Wisconsin would certainly vote number 12 as the best QB to be playing in the NFL today. No doubt Aaron Rodgers has single-handley led his team to the biggest game in all of sports. Super Bowl 45 is just around the corner and no NFL player is shinning more brightly than the Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. He may just be the best NFL quarterback we have seen in this league, since Brett Favre was taking snaps in the brutally cold temperatures of Wisconsin. Not many teams or NFL players look forward to a 3 hour football game in the Packers own football stadium. Most would not like the trip for the cold temperatures; while other NFL defenses would be shivering for a different reason. Does Aaron Rodgers really bring this much fear to the professional football game?

Now, if Aaron Rodgers is not the top dawg in the NFL today, then which talented QB is the best? We saw some good names you could look at in Hawaii yesterday. The Pro Bowl game between the AFC and NFC was a good chance to see all of the brightest quarterbacks in the game today, with the exception of Aaron Rodgers, who is waiting for next Sunday’s Super Bowl Game match up.

    Official Super Bowl 45 Program

Last year’s Super Bowl winner was the New Orleans Saints. They were led to the championship title with their star QB Drew Brees. He use to play for the San Diego Chargers, where now Philip Riversis the Chargers quarterback. It’s not like the San Diego football team made a mistake, by letting Brees go to the NFC and the Saints football team. Philip Rivers was the starting quarterback for the AFC Team in the Pro Bowl yesterday. So the Chargers NFL team has been blessed with two very good quarterbacks, while some teams would just love to have one star-studded NFL QB. If you’re going to talk about the best QB in the NFL today, you would have to put Drew Brees on that list, with Philip Rivers just behind him.

Most will agree that Peyton Manning is the best quarterback of all time. The question about Manning, is he still good enough now, to be the best 2011 NFL quarterback? A lot of questions and debates could come up here, but I think we will just say Peyton Manning is not a top 3 quarterback in the game today. He is in the same boat as Tom Brady. We all know Brady was once a great QB, but not anymore. The days of Tom Brady are over and the Patriots are really kicking their self now, for letting go of Randy Moss, who is still the best wide receiver in the NFL.

Young studs like Matt Ryan of the Atlanta Falcons and Joe Flaccofor the Ravens have not been around long enough. They could still be the top QB in 2011, but since neither is in the Super Bowl 45 game, we can rule both of these great QB’s out. I do think the Falcons have made a lot of big time mistakes with Matt Ryan. They tried to win football games, before developing their future star QB. If the Falcons would have focused on the development of Matt Ryan and not worried about winning football games, we could have easily seen Matt Ryan as the top dawg this year. The Falcons team did not do Ryan any favors either, by not bringing in some great wide receivers. The Atlanta Falcons actually see Roddy White as a great receiver and his 115 receptions they believe is proof, since this led the league. Wake up Atlanta! Other wide receivers are gaining extra yards after the catch and taking the ball to the house (endzone, touchdown, 6 points, etc...). White got so many receptions, because he was just moving the chains and not the scoreboard, like other elite receivers in the League do. Roddy White is NOT a top 10 wider receiver!

Just like the San Diego Chargershaving two great QB’s, the Falcons have had Matt Ryan and Michael Vick in the same decade and have yet been allowed to suit up on Super Bowl Sunday. The Chargers actually had the top overall pick in the Vick draft, before they traded it away to the Atlanta Falcons. Vick is certainly a quarterback that is up there with Aaron Rodgers. Due to the fact Vick was not a starter, becasue of the old and out-dated coaching fashions that take place in the NFL year after year. The Philadelphia Eagles head coach would not allow a contest to see who is best quarterback was before the season started. This caused the Eagles football team to rely on their 2nd best player, like so many other NFL teams do every Sunday. Decisions get made too early and NFL coaches do not recognize players improving and becoming better. If they would breakdown their teams each week and allow all jobs to be open each week, we would see an NFL team go to the Super Bowl, simply because they played their best 11 guys on offense or the best 11 guys on defense. The Eagles Coach is just like all the other over paid men in the NFL and it took an injury for his team to find the best QB or best player for the job.

Now as far as the best 2011 quarterback this year. I took several categories and based each one on a points system. I thought going in, that Michael Vick would have the best rating. To my surprise, this is how the current NFL quarterbacks rank. These points do cast a future shadow and will show us which current quarterbacks will be shinning the brightest, when the 2011 football season kicks off in the fall of 2011.

My Top QB’s Based on a Unique Points Rating

    1. Drew Brees – 209 points

    2. Aaron Rodgers – 201 points

    3. Michael Vick/Matt Ryan – 188 points

    4. Peyton Manning – 186 points

    5. Philip Rivers – 185 points

    6. Joe Flacco – 183 points

    7. Eli Manning – 180 pints

    8. Tom Brady – 164 points

    9. Matt Hasselback – 161 points

These are the top 10 QB’s in the NFL today. Since we had a tie for 3rd spot with Vick and Ryan, this is how the top ten quarterbacks will perform in the upcoming seasons in the NFL. As you can see, the New Orleans Saints led by their QB Drew Brees have a very bright future. The Green Bay Packers aren’t going anywhere and Rodgers will become a household name in America, long after the 2011 Super Bowl is over. Eagle fans and Michael Vick have a lot to look forward to, when it comes to their Eagles football team. Only major problem we have, is that the top 4 quarterbacks in the NFL, all play for the NFC. Only one guy can represent his team in the Super Bowl. Even though Flacco has a strong career in front of him, the Peyton Manning Show is still the best thing the AFC has to offer. While Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are getting ready for a major slip. Look for the Patriots to struggle for any future playoff appearances. If you are a free agent in the NFL right now, your easiest way to Super Bowl 46 is with the Indianapolis Colts and Peyton Manning, since they have less talent in that football conference. If you must stay in the NFC, then you will want to take the first taxi cab heading toward New Orleans.

I will even predict the New Orleans Saints to beat the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl 46 next year! You can take this prediction to the bank!

  • Buy Nascar T-Shirts OnlineVERY CHEAP!

The Super Bowl of Nascar Racing is the Daytona 500. I know the real Super Bowl hasn’t even been played yet, between the Green Bay Packers from Wisconsin and those fans with the Terrible Towels rooting for their beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. However, I am a big NASCAR fan, so I will jump the NFL football championship game. By the way, who is your pick to win this year’s Super Bowl in football?

    Nascar Video Game for 2011

I am more excited about the Daytona 500 this year, due to the new track down in Central Florida. They have resurfaced the track all the way around and even made it a little wider. The best drivers in the World will have lots of room to move around this year. The 2011 Daytona 500 is sure to be one of the best races ever!

Which Nascar Driver do you see winning it all on the opening day of the racing season? I have to go with an oldie but a goodie. I believe this new track is just what the doctor ordered for Jeff Gordon. Look for him to make a strong presence in Florida this year. There are some other drivers who could steal the show, but I will have to pick the number 24 team in Daytona this year.

The new rule changes in Nascar has only one purpose. Nascar has no desire to make the sport of professional racing better. The Nascar Officials are only trying to find a way, where Dale Earnhardt Junior can be in the final 12 drivers of the year. They need little E to be up front, so fans will not turn away from the sport late in the season. Nascar still hasn’t figured it out yet. The truth has to come out and fans must know. Dale Junior is just not that good. Earnhardt Junior is not a top 25 driver for Nascar. There are clearly 25 drivers on the circuit now; which can out drive him. Little Earnhardt Jr. has a lot of money and support, so his equipment keeps him around 15th to 18th in the driver standings. You give all the drivers the same team and turn them loose, the Earnhardt Crew would never make a top 25 finish. Now Nascar feels they must do something in the rules, to get the Dale Earnhardt Jr. team to the top 12. Good luck with that!

Which Super Bowl Do You Want To See Most?

    A. NFL – Super Bowl Football

    B. NASCAR – Super Bowl of Racing the Daytona 500

    C. Neither, I Will Just Watch the NFL Pro Bowl To See My Home Team Players Play

And yes, Dale Junior will finish in the top 10, due to his restrictor plate being bigger than the other drivers. Dale does well in restrictor plate racing, because the Nascar Officials or his driving team creates a little more of an opening in that restrictor plate. What’s funny, he still doesn’t win, even when he does have the fastest car. No matter how good the car is, you do have to drive at some point in this sport.

Please NASCAR, quit cheating for the Earnhardt team in the racing I love so much. NFL, please stop getting the referees to ask head coaches to call timeouts. We realize your sport is the least in money, due to the small number of games you play each year, compared to Nascar, MLB, NBA, and the NHL. Your forced commercials and the TV commercials you take on replay challenges is horrible. You must respect the fans more National Football League or you will lose. Wall Street already has you guys in the lockout up coming. Wise up and take your proper place in line.

New NASCAR Rules Coming in 2011?

Is NASCAR going to change their points system for drivers?

NASCAR has been looking over their rules, for the way they award points to the drivers. The old system for giving out these points, has been reported by several different sources in the media, that these rules were just written out on a napkin in a restaurant. This isn’t really true. During the mid 1970′s there wasn’t a calculator in every home. So most mathfigures would get jotted down on a piece of paper. While some of the papers were napkins, for trying to formulate this new rules system, it was not just a one time event, that took place in a restaurant. The current points system took a few evenings to complete. A variety of numbers would used on a variety of different papers; which some were written on napkins. There was some thought process that went into the procedure and even some ideas that didn’t get used. They were talking about adding qualifying positions into the mix and awarding drivers with some points from qualifying. Later they would back off of this idea and thought it was best to only award points at the actual race on Sunday or whatever day the event was scheduled for.

For a long time, new fans to the sport of NASCAR racing have had trouble keeping up with the points system. Not only does each position pay a certain points amount, but there is also 5 points added to any race leaders and another 5 points was given to the driver who led the most overall number of laps, during a NASCAR race. This was to reward drivers for charging hard to the front and actually would lead a lap. The new rules would not compensate any race leaders and would only be paid out at the end of a official NASCAR race.

The biggest change for the new rules is to not give out the 185 points to the race winner. The winner would actually get 43 points for their win and the 2nd place driver would get 42 points and this scenario continues all the way down, until you get to the 43rd place, where the last place driver would receive 1 NASCAR point. This is the easiest and most simple way for new fans and old fans to understand the points system in NASCAR. Officials believe all new fans to the sport would quickly be able to figure out these new rules and understand how everyone on the track gets points.

However, NASCAR isn’t just set on giving out these points. They are trying to think of an extra way to award the winner, top 3 drivers, top 5 drivers, and the top 10 drivers. Like awarding the winner with 10 extra points, 2nd place with 5 extra points, 3rd place with 3 extra points, 4th & 5th place drivers would get 2 extra points, and the 6th through 10 drivers would get 1 extra point. Once you begin going in this direction, it gets a little tougher to understand, so NASCAR is having trouble coming up with the final formula.

I think it’s a easy problem to overcome. Why not just combine two systems, where the first system would award drivers a extra point for each place, all the way up to 43 points. Then award 1 point to the winner, one point to the top 2 drivers, one point to the 3 top drivers, one point to the top 5 drivers, and 1 point for the top 10 drivers. These points would be awarded to every driver who qualified for each one of these 5 distinctive categories.

The winner would get 43 points from the first scoring system. The 2nd scoring system would award the first place driver with 1 point for first place,  1 point for the top 2 driver category, 1 point for the top 3 driver category, 1 point to the top 5 driver category, and 1 point to the top 10 driver category, for a total of 48 points. The 2nd place driver would get 42 points for their finish and 1 point for 4 out of the 5 categories (4 points) and would receive 46 points for  a 2nd place finish. The 3rd place driver would get 44 points. 4th place would get  42 points; while the 5th place driver would get 41 points. A 6th place driver would get 39 points and 1 less point for each place down to the 10th spot in the race. The 11th place driver would not qualify for the 2nd scoring system and would only get 33 points from the 1st scoring system or the normal scoring system. A driver would have to get in the top 10, to qualify for the bonus scoring system.

So you have a basic or normal scoring system for all 43 drivers. While adding a bonus scoring system in for the top 10 drivers. This would create racing around the whole track. Every driver would know each place means an extra point in the standings. There would be even more competition for a driver to get in the top 10 list, while a top 5 spot position would offer a little bit more of a prize and make drivers compete that much harder.

I would also be in favor of awarding the winner 1 or 2 additional points for actually winning the race. NASCAR could keep these rules above in place and could give the top driver 2 extra points, for a nice rounded number of 50 bonus points. Or take away the top category and only consider having 4 categories with the winner of the race getting 3 points for winning, and then they could pick up a point for each of the 4 categories they placed in, and this would give them 50 points this way too.

I don’t like the top 12 driver change they are considering making. Where the top 10 drivers would qualify as usual and then allowing 11th and 12th place to be decided by wins. A driver who is a good big track driver, could rack up 4 wins at Daytona and Talladega and be a horrible driver at the other tracks. In most cases, the 11th and 12thplace drivers would not have that many wins to start with. We might have one driver with 3 wins (which means they would only need to do well at Daytona and Talladega  75% of the time) and then have 3 drivers with 2 wins, who didn’t qualify for the top 10 positions. These three drivers would need a tie breaker and the most obvious tie-breaker choice, is to pick the driver who led the most laps. Now we would have the 12th driver in; which would have probably gotten there with the old system anyways, and the 11th driver may have actually finished in 15th place or lower, with the old scoring system. We can’t let drivers in to the NASCAR PLAYOFFS, because they picked out 3 tracks to dominate and won 3 times during the year, but was actually one of the worse drivers on the rest of the NASCAR circuit.

I would prefer NASCAR to start with the number of top 10 finishes a driver had and award the 11th and 12thplace spots to these drivers, who didn’t make the top 10 in points. This way, we could have a better tie breaker system in place, by going withthe number of top 5 finishes, and if the drivers were still tied, go to the number of top 3 finishes, top 2 finishes, and then using wins as the last tiebreaker choice. If the tie was still in place, then we could look at the number of laps led and if still tied, just go with their finish in the Daytona 500 (first race of the year). Even if they settled tie breakers by going down the chart, after wins, and gave credit for top 2, top 3, top 5, and top 10 finishes; we would still have the possibility of a driver winning at one track twice, which might be good enough to make the top 12.

If you actually break the scoring system down and make it easier, I don’t think you would need the challenge at the end. Just go back to the old system and let every race count. While NASCAR in 2011 is at it, and playing around with the rules, they need to make these rules for cars and not drivers. A car team should be allowed to make any substitutes necessary to win a season championship. In team sports, we have injuries all the time, but teams are allowed to put guys into position, where they think it is best for the team. Even though injuries and sickness is not common in NASCAR, it does happen. Allow drivers to have back-ups, or replace a struggling driver with someone new behind the wheel. While the team is not under the banner of any one person’s name, but instead they work to get a car or a car number to the first spot in the championship series for the season.
