We recently got a new sink in our kitchen and bought the works with it. We did get a new sink faucet in the kitchen and we thought we was doing the right thing by getting one that saves water. These water saving faucets are not helpful in the kitchen and they prevent the water pressure from being too great. Our kitchen sink water now is very slow and has very little pressure. The washer inside the faucet or something is preventing the flow of water and this is how it’s supposed to save us energy. It takes forever to fill up a pot with enough water to boil an egg or hot dog on the stove. I would watch out for these types of faucets and make sure you get one that will have a lot of water pressure when you need it. This type of faucet might work in the bathroom for brushing your teeth or things like that, but they are not good in your kitchen. Your home’s kitchen would be better off with a Kohler faucet or one of the nicer ones that you find being sold today. I can assure you that you want to stay far away from the energy saving faucets that are made for the kitchen. Save water in the bathroom and don’t sacrifice the water pressure in the kitchen!
