Simple things are worth blogging about

As a licensed driver on our roadways in the United States, it’s up to you to know the speed limit on the roads and highways you drive on each day. We know one or two miles per hour over the speed limit is fine and allowed in most areas. Even if you’re driving just 1 mile per hour over the speed limit, you’re breaking the law. I know on some roads you would get run over, if you drove the speed limit. It can be a little difficult sometimes, to know exactly how fast you can go, so you won’t get a senseless speeding ticket. Drivers that go over the speed limits in the double digits, need to get a ticket and these tickets help to make our roads safer in this country.
The Memorial Day weekend is here now and most states will have extra law enforcement on the roads, to help make sure drivers are not drinking and driving. They will also be setting up road blocks, to make sure drivers have a valid driver’s license. For those drivers that like to speed around a lot, this is not a good weekend to do that, since more law officers will be on the lookout for unusual driving behaviors.
A good radar detector can help drivers avoid speeding tickets. These little tech gadgets help to detect radar devices that are used to determine how fast drivers are driving. The one in the picture is a Whistler XTR-590 Radar Detector that is currently selling at Buy.com. This radar detector is selling at a good price and is probably cheaper than what you paid for the last speeding ticket you got. When you can invest in a tech product that will help save you money in the long run, it becomes a good investment.
If you figure the average speeding ticket is $100 or more and can find a radar detector on sale for less than $100; its easy to see how this product can save you money. You can take the heavy foot off of the gas pedal to help you most of the time, to avoid speeding tickets while driving. However, at some point we all need to drive a little fast to get to somewhere we need to be at a specific time. During these times when we are late and looking to make up a little time by driving fast, we could benefit from the services these radar detectors provide.
For the most part, all drivers need to slow down and realize being late is not as important as a big speeding ticket or causing an accident. During the holidays, like the Memorial Day weekend, we see just how serious the law is with holiday drivers. I would like to have a radar detector to help during these strict driving days, but to also have handy when I really need to get to somewhere fast. If one of these radar detectors help you to avoid a speeding ticket one time, they pay for their self right then and there. Do you own a radar detector? Do you think a radar detector would have helped you to avoid the last speeding ticket you got?
