As a licensed driver on our roadways in the United States, it’s up to you to know the speed limit on the roads and highways you drive on each day. We know one or two miles per hour over the speed limit is fine and allowed in most areas. Even if you’re driving just 1 mile per hour over the speed limit, you’re breaking the law.
