Arthur Blank Turns His Back on the Atlanta Falcons
Arthur Blank the owner of the Atlanta Falcons has lost interest in the team. After his star quarterback Michael Vick has been suspended for the year, the owner feels no more love for the team. This showed yesterday when the Atlanta Falcons hosted the San Franscisco 49ers. The Falcons needed to sell about 3,000 more tickets so that the game could be shown in the local area of Atlanta. Instead the game was blacked out in the local areas of Georgia, due to the NFL rules on selling out games by the 1PM Thursday deadline. While Mr. Blank has given up on the team and them not being shown on television in the local area will further distant fans from the Atlanta Falcons. This is going to be the decline of the Falcons team and Rich McKay the GM is still not wanting to rebuild this team yet. So the fans in Atlanta are going to be waiting a long time, before the Falcons can become a competitive football team again. Mr. Blank should just sell the team if he’s going to rely on one player like Michael Vick to carry them. The Falcons might be leaving the city of Atlanta and when you can’t watch them on television, most people probably want even notice that the team is gone.Click here for reuse options!
