It seems we may have a new judge in place for next season when American Idol starts up their 10th season. According to Paula Abdul’s new manager, the Idol Judge is not happy that the people running American Idol haven’t given her a new contract yet. Oh really? I find this story absurd and how many jobs in America can you get caught being drunk and still have a job? I think Paula Abdul should be happy that she has got to work as long as she has to this point. I believe she has been drunk or high in many of the American Idol episodes and this isn’t good for the younger viewers.

There is a huge following of the show that is made up of teens and its really not a good idea to have someone drunk constantly on the TV. I believe American Idol would be wise to get her alcohol problems under control first; before they make her a new offer to return. There isn’t too many employers out there that would even give you a 2nd chance Paula; so you have been very lucky to this point. I’m sure since your new manager has only been on the job for a couple of weeks now; that you gave full consent for him to release this bit of news to the Press and anyone else that you’re looking for to feel sorry for you. It’s time to grow up and take responsibility for your actions. Keep your clothing line and costume jewelry going and start working behind the camera instead of in front of it. We don’t need to set a bad example to our youth or a show that carries the title “American” behaving in a drunken fashion. I’m not sure what the extent may be with your drug and alcohol habits; but I am sure it’s not ready for prime time in America.

I don’t think the show can replace Paula and she has been great for American Idol. Many fans of the show love her and she has a nice way of letting people know they suck; when they couldn’t sing their way out of a wet paper sack. However, it is clear in my eyes that you have done many shows while being intoxicated and this has to stop. Perhaps you could do a season for charity and donate your season’s wages to a place that deals with drug and alcohol abuse. This might be the only way to save your name and your job as an American Idol judge.

It isn’t often that Mother Nature gives us a tip or advice on technology. Afterall, she is a nature-loving person and this is probably against her beliefs. Mother Nature is a kind soul and doesn’t want to see us tearing up our expensive computer equipment or big screen televisions either. If we damage our nice electronics we own, we will just throw them away and then they will be laying in a land-fill somewhere and this isn’t good for the environment. To help keep the environment good and in hopes of saving some of the nature we have left, she has agreed to give out some advice that will help us all.

What are the best fat burners on the market today? Do you see any on television, the computer, or in newspaper ads that you would like to try? I’m not severely over weight, but I would like to lose about 10 pounds. I’m in no hurries to get the extra weight off, but I know it would make me feel better each day and it’s healthier too. The man everyone knows as “Tiger” doesn’t seem to be the golfer he once was. He just doesn’t hit the ball like we are use to seeing and perhaps the glory days of Tiger Woods is over. It’s hard to say why he doesn’t play golf at a high level anymore and perhaps its age or just being too rich and popular to practice like he needs to do. I really don’t think Tiger Woods will win another tournament in golf and golf fans got a glimpse of his horrible play the last two days in England. Maybe you can watch Tiger Woods playing golf this weekend on your TV sets; if you do own a video game with Mr. Woods on it. Some golf fans might think I’m over reacting to his latest performance. The Open (British Open) across the pond is where all the best golfers in the world are playing this weekend. The golfers got to play 2 rounds of golf that took place on Thursday and Friday and a certain number will determine the cut-off mark. Only the top performing golfers get to advance on the weekend, so it’s important to have a good stroke on these first two days. Tiger missed the cut and a lot of fans will be disappointed in England when they don’t see him playing this weekend. This is only the 2nd major that Tiger has missed in his great golf career. After seeing him play since his surgery that ended his season short last year, it doesn’t seem like he has it anymore. Perhaps Tiger Woods will figure out a way to win a small golf tournament here or there; but I don’t expect him to ever win another major golf tournament again. Do you think Tiger Woods is still the best golfer in the world?

If Tiger’s golf days are numbered; you may just want to wait on buying his video games. If he continues to play poorly on the golf courses, they might just be a big sale on Tiger’s video games. I’m sure most of his fans expect him to play strong on his next outting, but I really think this golfing legend is done on the PGA Tour. There is a senior circuit out there and it should be interesting to see if a player with his stature in the sport would ever consider playing with the seniors.

I haven’t never played a video game with Tiger on it, but I could imagine it would be a lot of fun. I’m sure he can drive the ball far and straight on the video games that do feature him. The golf video games I have played in the past, I have thought was a lot of fun. Golf is a fun sport in real life or on a video game. I guess with Tiger no longer in the picture this weekend, it makes the field wide open for who will win the 2009 British Open.

It seems the Major League Baseball Organization still can’t get it right and once again they fail to get the message. I’m not sure when the guys running professional baseball are going to learn that its the fans that make the game. Another summer classic is in the books and the grades aren’t good for the All Star Events in St. Louis. The actual All Star Game itself did fine and fans did get treated to a good game of baseball. The score was close and both teams were getting low on pitchers and don’t be surprised if another tie is in the cards for the future in these baseball all-star games.

The first failure came on Sunday before the All Star Game that featured the all stars of minor league baseball. This game is referred to as the Futures Game and it showcases tomorrow’s stars in Major League Baseball. The game started on time but a huge rain cloud would end up delaying the game for about 2 hours or enough time to show last year’s Future Game in its entirity. After the showers had pass through the wet St. Louis field known as Busch Stadium; the officials in charge of the game elected to play 7 innings of baseball, instead of the 9 innings that were planned. It was still about 8PM in the evening when the game would end and there was no threats of bad weather moving in any time soon. It made the fans watching the game ask “why only 7 innings?” and if you thought this; then you weren’t alone. Why would this all star game not go the full 9 innings; when it was still early evening in St. Louis? It appears the softball game that features legends of baseball and a long list of celebrities would have to play their game too late. Since this softball game features a lot of well-known people in the entertainment business, they were on a tight schedule to get to other places after their softball game. These people’s schedules were more important than the young and talented men that perform in the Futures Game and baseball fans got treated to a silly softball game in St. Louis; instead of seeing the stars of tomorrow play in this great game that MLB puts on each year. Once again the guys running baseball made a poor decision and the Futures Game was more important than the softball game.

Since the real baseball game on Sunday was cut short; fans got to see a lot of good players that didn’t start the game, get rushed in for an appearance at the plate or an inning in the field. This game deserves 9 innings and Major League Baseball should have just let the celebrities leave that needed to be somewhere else. Unbelievable that a softball game would be more important than the real athletes or the fans that wanted to see the Futures Game on Sunday go 9 innings.

It didn’t get too much better on Monday during the Homerun Derby. This event was being covered by ESPN and the announcers calling this event didn’t want to see a 3-way bat-off; that eventually did have to take place, to determine who was the 4th player in the semi-final round. Nelson Cruz, Prince Fielder, and Ryan Howard had clinch spots in the next round, but 3 other contestants had 5 homeruns in the first round and only 1 could advance to the next round. The people tuning in to watch these guys knock the baseball 400+ feet want to see these guys swing as much as possible. ESPN didn’t see this “bat-off” as a welcomed event and looked at it as more of a hassle. I’m sure the fans from Tampa Bay wanted to see their guy Carlos Pena hit again and I wonder what was going through their minds, to hear the guys from ESPN wanting Albert Pujols to hit one more homer to prevent the 3 way bat-off. I thought it was great excitement to see Joe Mauer, Carlos Pena, and hometown favorite Pujols get 5 more swings in the event. It made the event last longer and this is great for the fans. Yet ESPN nor Major League Baseball care about the fans and they are just looking to meet schedules and keep their TV programming on track. Also, we don’t want to see part of our TV screens showing interviews while our favorite baseball players are up to bat. Please show the interviews later and keep the full-screen on the guys we have tuned in to see swinging for the fences.

The All Star Game was great and this is probably due to the fact ESPN didn’t cover it and the officials from Major League Baseball didn’t have to make any crucial decisions. I can’t believe these guys continue to spit on the fans and even more surprised fans let them continue to do it. I just can’t see myself spending any more money at the ball park or on MLB gear; until these folks realize it’s the fans that make the game. There isn’t a baseball season without the fans spending their hard-earned money on the tickets and the other items they purchase; while their at the ball park rooting on their hometown team.

Let’s not forget the 1994 strike season in baseball and how we got treated then. Let’s not forget the tie in the Mid-Summer Classic and the baseball we got robbed from. We can dictate things in MLB because it’s our money that keeps the world going for these rich, spoiled brats. The true fans of baseball got robbed of 2 innings in the Futures Game and had to hear ESPN gripe about a 3-Way Bat-Off that most fans wanted to see! The All Star events were a failure in St. Louis and MLB still hasn’t put the fans first in the sport we call our National Pastime.

Do you enjoying playing online or real-life bingo? I know several people that like to get together at a Moose Lodge, Lyons Club, or some type of organization that has a bingo session being played a couple of nights a week. You just have walked into the doctor’s or dentist office and put your name down on the list. Now it’s time to find a seat and find something to do while you wait to be called. Do you like to watch the TV? Or is a magazine or book more up your alley? I know neither one of these methods work well if the TV is on a station you don’t care to watch or there is no reading material that you find interesting. It seems most doctor’s offices will keep their televisions on a news channel; while the reading material can vary greatly from one waiting room to another. Does reading a noxycut review interest you or other types of material about dieting? Or do you prefer to look at the food ads from restaurants, because you know you get to go out to eat when you leave the doctor’s office? It can be a challenge finding ways to kill time in a waiting room.

The modern times that we live in now seem to have a lot of people looking at their cell phones. It seems texting and playing games on the cell phone is better than the TV or the reading material the waiting room provides. The only problem I have with this; is the fact I don’t have a cell phone to help me in the waiting rooms. I was hoping to find someone out there that has a lot of practice of killing time in the waiting rooms and could lend some solid advice. Please leave tips and suggestions on the best ways to kill time in the waiting rooms. I’m sure some of these tips could be used in other places that we have to wait for service. I get tired of waiting on the car mechanics to service my car or what about waiting to get a hair cut. Whatever tips we can get for the doctor’s office should work well in the other places, we have to patiently wait to be helped. I look forward to reading your waiting room tips and maybe we can just create our own reading material for doctor’s offices.

Everyone likes to listen to a little music. Some research has found that music can help to relieve stress. I do believe these studies are true and some types of music work very well for stress. It isn’t the head-banging music or fast-paced songs that help on the stress issues. The slower songs that we would classify as ballads or soft rock is the music you can listen to for stress relief. Now with that in mind; who do you like to listen to on your ipods? I think Air Supply, Chicago, or some Bon Jovi songs would be great for stress relief and these are groups I like a lot. I am a big fan of soft rock songs and have spent a lot of time listening to groups like these. If you like to listen to country music; then I think a large majority of these songs would be great for stress problems. Any songs containing rap lyrics or an upbeat pace is not the ones we really want on the IPod.

Stress is a very serious issue and if not treated properly it can lead to heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure, and even death. I do hope everyone would seek a professional doctor if they feel they are suffering from stress. For those of us that throw around the term loosely and feel like we need a little break from the havoc of day to day life; then easy listening music is a nice way to lower the tension.

If you watch TV a lot like I do; it doesn’t take long to hear the words “Facebook” or “Twitter” on the television. Factor in the amount of times you see a website like Twitter or Facebook making their way on our TV screens and you would have to say these social networking sites get a ton of traffic each day. Or perhaps another social networking site like MySpace or the popular videos from YouTube woud be your choice. I love the YouTube website and I am comfortable navigating my way around over there. Some of these other social networking sites I haven’t learned as well but I may have to change that in the near future. Judging by the TV programs I watch each day, I would say that Twitter probably has a slight edge over Facebook. At least that would be my guess and I have no idea which website boasts the highest numbers of members or users in their data base.

I think we are still in the early stages of social networking websites like these and who knows where the next hot website will come from in this growing industry. Is uploading a picture of yourself at Facebook more important than a Tweet you might get or could send out at Twitter? Who is the king between these two websites that have gained in popularity so fast? I like to play around online and take business-like approaches in the websites I choose to join online. Which website do you think would benefit better; for someone that is looking to earn money online?

By any chance have you ever heard of a website called APSense? This is a social networking website that is geared for online business and I see the value is greater here than Facebook or Twitter. I may be wrong and perhaps lacking in knowledge on how to use Twitter or Facebook to get the most for my online programs I hope to earn lots of money with some day. The man that could break tackles on the football field and still launch a beautiful spiral down the field 50 yards has been found dead in a Nashville apartment building. This is shocking news for the NFL and the Tennessee Titans team; where Steve McNair has played most of his professional career with and I’m sure the community is in disbelief too. McNair has had some problems over the last few seasons. Many believe that he has been depressed and even suicidial at times. His death is not being labeled a suicide at this time and it does appear someone else is responsible. There was also a woman that was found dead in the apartment too and now police are looking for the shooter. A double homicide is not something the folks in Nashville want to deal with on a fourth of July holiday, but it appears investigators will be working overtime to quickly solve this one.

The ex-Titan QB has played the last two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens; after he spent 9 seasons playing in Tennessee. The news has just came across the sportswire and not a lot of information is known right now about his death. I have always liked Steve McNair and he was a great quarterback. He found ways to win and that’s something all quarterbacks don’t have today. His ability to change a game or carry a team on his shoulders was amazing.
