How has the sleep been going?

If you have trouble with your sleeping; then I can’t help ya. If you suffer from nightmares and this has caused problems in your sleeping pattern, perhaps there is something that can help. The screen that our eyes stare into for hours and hours each day is different from the television screen. Computer screens are more harmful for our eyes and they do create disturbing patterns in the brain. This leads to nightmares and people not getting a good night’s sleep. If you can limit your computer usage each day and starting cutting back; then you should see improvements immediately. The computer is the cause of a lot of people’s nightmares and the bad dreams will stop when the computer gets turned off.

There isn’t a lot of vineyards on the east coast to visit, so I haven’t ever been to one before. I would like to make a trip out west one day and visit some of the vineyards in California. I would be happy to take my taste buds out there for a week and perform some Wine Grades for them. A vacation to a vineyard seems like a fun trip to me. I couldn’t imagine all the fun I would have just sitting around and drinking wine all day. These areas in California are very scenic and would be a peaceful journey to take one day. I would not want to travel alone and this would be a trip I would want to make with a special lady friend. This type of atmosphere is perfect for romance and I’m sure I would earn some major points with a getaway to a vineyard.

I would need some expert advice on Wine Pairing and wouldn’t have a clue on where to begin here. I don’t think the costs would be expensive for a vacation to a vineyard. You figure most of these vineyards are located on farms and not close to a big or major city. Typically hotel and motel rates are cheaper the further you get from the big cities. I think the lodging would be very affordable. Buying the wine shouldn’t be that much either, since you’re located where it’s made and the vineyards aren’t paying for packaging and shipping. A vineyard that offers a variety of free wine samples would be higher on my list than the ones that didn’t. A trip that has low lodging costs and free samples of the item you’re actually coming for, would be a cheap vacation. For me the expense would come in travel costs, since I live so far from California. Deciding to drive or fly would be a decision I would have to make later on. I know flying is the best way to get some where, but I have always wanted to drive across country. I just never knew of a destination to travel to and maybe a wine vineyard in California is the way to go.

If I can get a little season under my belt here in the States, I may can take a trip to an Italian vineyard some day. I would have to certainly put that down on my itenary if I do travel to Italy. Also feel free to give me any advice on a good wine selection I need to try.

It’s hard to listen to all the constant hammering and sawing each day. I have had this life for the past 2 weeks and not sure when it will end. It has got me behind on so many things and mainly my online interests that I like to work on daily. It’s almost impossible to concentrate while they are working on the house and that is why I am up at 6 AM right now typing this blog post. I hope things get back to normal real soon and some of this work can start wrapping up. I’m sure others are facing the stress I have right now too and it’s a part of life I guess. I just hope my family thinks twice before they rush in to any home repairs again. Choosing a better cast of characters to do the home improvements would have saved a lot of time and money.

I can’t believe the kids are already preparing to go back to school in July. I guess you have to now with school starting much earlier than it use to. As a kid, I would always do my back to school shopping in late August. We always got a summer vacation of 3 months (June, July, and August) and now school vacations only last 2 months. Our kids are still in class at the first of June and hearing those school bells ring again by the middle of August. It seems so unfair to them and I do feel sorry for them. The parents might like the short summers and this may work out better for them, but I know the children didn’t have a vote in this educational decision.

I always loved the first day of school; even though it meant summer was over. That first day of putting on your new clothes and shoes did make you feel good. Usually that feeling wore off by the second day, but starting a new school year was fun. You would get to see your friends again and hang out with them. It was always exicting to see how many friends you would have for a certain class, but it seems there was always one class that you wouldn’t have any friends in. I guess that “first day feeling” is just around the corner for most students. The kids living in my area have about 10 more days of their summer vacations left and they won’t enjoy them too much knowing school is about to start once again.

I don’t have any special technolgy news to tell you about with barcodes and earthworms, but I do have a good fishing story to tell you. It’s actually about the trip to the bait and tackle shop before the fishing trip ever started. Me and a buddy was getting ready to go fishing and we needed a few fishing supplies. One of those items was live bait and we did want a box of Canadian Nightcrawlers. The store that we went to had those typical barcodes on all their items, so they could just scan them at the checkout lines. Even the tub of earth worms we bought had that special barcode on the bottom of the container. I’m not sure who was the genius that decided to put the barcode label on the bottom, but it didn’t fare too well when the cashier used the barcode scanner to ring up our order. You probably can guess what happens next, but the story don’t quite end there. Yes, the cashier is quickly picking up our items and scanning each one to the register. She grabs the nightcrawlers and quickly sees the barcode on the bottom and turns it upside down to scan it. The worms and the dirt quickly fall to the counter and now worms are wiggling around for everyone to see. It’s not every day that you see a cashier do this, so me and my friend’s first reaction was to laugh. This didn’t go over well with her or her manager and both gave us the evil eye. They even had the nerve to tell us to make sure the lid is on tight before bringing them to the counter. I did check the earth worms in the store, to see if they were alive before I bought them. I may have not put the lid back on tight, but didn’t purposely leave it loose either. The manager had to clean the counter because the female cashier was having nothing to do with the worms or the dirt that was now laying on her counter. We did get treated very rudely for the mistake the cashier made and the person that decided the barcode was best on the bottom. I would really hate to buy a minnow bucket and minnows at this store!

We really don’t get that hungry during the summer time or at least for people that live in really warm-weather climates. It seems our sun and the heat we have in the summers in North Georgia are like a natural appetite suppressant. It is different during the cold weather months and I think more of us get hungry during these times. I’m not saying we don’t ever get hungry in the summer months, but we do eat less when the weather is really hot outside. I’m sure people get hungry late at night if they worked in the hot sun all day and their bodies get a chance to cool down in the evenings. During these times I do build up a big appetite for eating, but you can keep the food for the daylight hours. Our food supply is much better in the summers, since fresh garden vegetables are available and they can make a good meal a better meal. Green beans and tomatoes are my favorite two things from the garden and they have a big taste difference compared to the ones you can buy at the store. Once you get a chance to experience this taste difference, you will want to eat fresh vegetables all the time and perhaps have fewer hunger pains when you do!

The thing that separates me from others that have tried this approach is that I didn’t follow their steps. Too many people were focused on the actual Apollo 11 mission itself and the things that NASA sent into our living rooms on July 20th, 1969. I wanted to understand what led up to the launch date of July 16th; when Apollo 11 left the Earth and the events that took place when the astronauts returned to Earth. Why focus on these days; when evidence is sure to exist of the steps that were taken to prepare for this mission or the hoax that could have been constructed on or before July 16th, 1969. Also, I think most of us can agree that the best laid out plans never go like we want them to and decisions or actions would have been made after the Apollo 11 spacecraft touched down in the Pacific Ocean. If it was a legit mission; then improvements would have been made from the previous mission, to insure the 2nd time to the moon was more successful than the 1st trip. If the trip was a hoax; then chances are adjustments would have been made, from the original plans before July 16th.

I will give you some good starting points and keys to solving the moon landing. Since my key figure has passed away now (recently) I have no fears of putting his life in danger and fearing that certain people might have thought he told me his secrets. My key figure may not even be aware that he knew any secrets and I still have a few unanswered questions myself. These questions may seem like one consipiracy theory after another and linking other popular theories together. I can assure you this only involves the Moon Landing of 1969 and does not relate to other widely known conspiracy theories. All of this information will lead to undeniable proof to the truth and how we never did go to the moon or walk on it in 1969.

What was the purpose of the Moon Hoax? I can’t answer that and most would probably agree that it had to do with the Soviet Union and the space race between the two nations. I’m not totally convinced on that theory; since the Vietnam War was in progress and so many key political figures were playing a part of this drama that unfolded during the 1960′s. No matter which way your mind goes or which side of the fence you choose, I can say for sure that no man we are aware of walked the surface of the moon in the summer of 1969.

The story of Michael Jackson continues to live on with his recent death a few weeks back. It’s amazing to see how many albums the late singer has sold in the month of July and this is looking more like the Elvis Pressley situation every day now. I haven’t ever read any books on MJ, but I think it would be interesting to read the one Ian Halperin wrote called UnMasked. You can probably find this book at your favorite bookstore or any place online that sells books. I ran across this copy at Buy.com and they probably have it cheaper than any other place; since they are typically the best place online to find bargains. The part above his name that reads “The Final Years” is what caught my eye and this is probably information that most of the public is not aware of.

We all know the first half of the Michael Jackson story and a great movie was created to show the Jackson 5 story. The name of the movie is called An American Dream and it shows Michael and his brothers growing up in Gary, Indiana and how tough it was back then for them. His dad Joseph Jackson had a tough time feeding his family with very few jobs in Gary and the family being as big as it was. Their home was very small and it is still standing today. I am surprised that Michael or any of his other family members didn’t ever take time to invest in their old home place and create some type of tourist attraction for this part in Indiana. Gary is still considered a place where poverty exists and I haven’t heard of any of the Jackson’s millions ever being gave back to this poor community. Even with the lack of financial support from Michael, Janet, or any of the other family members, the community still showed up to support Michael Jackson’s untimely death. I hope the book UnMasked reveals the 2nd half of the story or perhaps someone will create a movie or write a book on the entire story of Michael Jackson.
